If the Supreme Court rules in favor of same-sex marriage it could mean Christian schools will lose their tax-exempt status. This could also extend to ministries if they hold fast to the biblical definition of marriage. The justices are hearing arguments on the issue of same-sex marriage, and will probably have a ruling in June.
Why this Matters: Is the day coming when the Bible will be considered hate speech? Hillary Clinton, speaking at a Women’s conference said, “Deep seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed.” The Supreme Court’s ruling has the power to change our churches, schools, and lives forever.
How to Pray: Ask God to remind these justices of the weight of the matter. They are not God, but represent Him in their rulings. May He influence their thoughts to act in a way that will preserve our culture, not erode it.
