A 12-year-old boy, his father and several others were crucified by ISIS in a village near Aleppo, Syria. When these members of a Christian ministry team refused to convert to Islam, the five men and the boy were tortured and then crucified. Christians in another area were also asked to renounce their faith. When they refused, the ISIS militants raped the women and then beheaded all eight Christians.
Father, thank you for the strength You gave these martyrs so they were able to stand firm in the face of death. Increase our faith and prepare all of those who will be tried in the same way! Use this situation to further the gospel in Syria.
Luke 9:24 – For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
Rev 2:10 – Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast [some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Praying Citizen 
He is using this situation to further the gospel among Syrians. But the Christian churches and the “Christian” governments among whom He is trying to plant those fleeing this crisis refuse to open their doors and let them come in.
