A stunning report released Thursday by a House Republican task force revealed that official intelligence reports hid the real state of the battle against ISIS. They consistently described U. S. actions in a more positive light and implied the war against ISIS was being won. The task force blamed “structural and management changes” at Central Command (CENTCOM) for the misinformation. The inaccuracies were fed to the public and Congress beginning in mid-2014. A survey taken of the personnel involved showed that about 40 percent claimed they had experienced “an attempt to distort or suppress intelligence” coming from the White House.
Why this Matters: This falsification was not a simple case of “rallying the troops,” but was instead a willful distortion during a time of war. If this had happened during WWII, it would have been called treason. President Obama has famously called ISIS the “JV team,” but it has become a monster under his watch.
What’s more, when Hillary Clinton was Obama’s Secretary of State, she directed the supplying of weapons to the anti-Assad forces in Syria. Our consulate and the CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya were the staging points for the transfer of those weapons and the anti-Assad forces developed into ISIS fighters.
When the U. S. pulled out of Iraq and Afghanistan (a campaign promise of Obama’s), U. S. tanks and other heavy machinery that were left behind for our allies soon fell into the hands of ISIS. The early withdrawal of troops is considered a huge mistake by most military leaders and analysts who say we left the area in an unstable condition. Today, ISIS attacks are happening outside the war zone every 84 hours.
How to Pray: Father, we ask You to expose every evil deed that is being perpetrated by our leaders. Raise up the people of this nation to cry out that justice may prevail. Father, we agree with You that America needs to return to righteousness–especially in the Church. Perfect Your children in the mercy, grace, righteousness and peace of Jesus.

Heb. 4:19 – Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Milwaukee Shooting Causes Riots
A black man was shot on Saturday night in Milwaukee, WI, by police after he ran during a traffic stop. Sylville Smith, 23, was charged in February 2015 for reckless endangerment and witness intimidation, but the charges were dismissed. On Saturday night, after being stopped for “suspicious activity,” he fled on foot. The officer, who is also black, gave chase, commanding Smith put down his weapon. When he refused, the officer shot and killed Smith.
That set off rioting on Sunday; a gas station and other businesses were set on fire and rocks were thrown at police. Governor Scott Walker declared a state of emergency and activated the National Guard.
The gun Smith was carrying was stolen in a burglary and was loaded with 23 rounds of ammunition. The officer who shot him is a 24-year-old, and a three-year veteran officer.
Pray for the community to put hatred and fear behind them as the incident is fully investigated. Pray for the leaders to help people heal, not stir up more trouble. Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at a campaign even in Milwaukee on Tuesday. Pray God would influence his thinking and give him the right words to speak.

The latest craze: Pokemon Go – If you’ve seen people looking down at their phones while standing in traffic, wandering around cemeteries, or plodding through public places, you’ve seen the effects of Pokemon Go. This is an augmented reality game loaded on cellphones that uses GPS to collect, train, and battle virtual monsters. Pokemon Go has raked in $160 million in the month since its launch and is even more popular with adults than it is with children.
Particle Collider at CERN, Switzerland
Why this Matters: The precursor to Pokemon Go was a game called “Ingress,” where players chased aliens that came into the world through an intra-dimensional portal at the CERN lab in Switzerland. Interestingly, there really are scientists accelerating particles at CERN, hoping to create a portal to make way for alien beings to enter from another dimension.
How to Pray: Pray that those you love will not fall under the great deception that is coming upon the earth. Pray God will lead the Church into all truth and that we will not fall prey to the enemy’s lies.
2 Thes. 2:10b-12 – …they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
