Still on the Fence? This Post is for You

ladyfenceMany Christians just cannot bring themselves to vote for Donald Trump. Instead, they will vote for Hillary, despite their many misgivings. Others will decide to stay home, vote third party, or write-in another candidate. All of these actions will, in effect, elect Hillary Clinton president and likely create collateral damage for our nation. So, before you do not vote for Trump, please ask yourself these questions:

  1. How do I feel about late term abortions?

Liberal Supreme Court appointments (at least 3 or 4 ) will be a certainty with a Clinton presidency. The balance of liberal vs. conservative will tip far to the left. The first thing to go will be laws holding back limits on abortion. Are you going to be okay when it is legal in all states to abort a child who is old enough to survive outside the womb?

    2. What do I think about national security and our borders? Do I want to pay for assistance for illegal aliens?

Clinton has said she prefers a borderless nation and plans to greatly increase immigration and grant amnesty to illegals already here. This will mean more people vying for jobs, which are already scarce, and billions to fund healthcare, food stamps and goodies for new citizens. Is this how you want your money spent? Do you want greater security at the borders or less?

     3. Am I able to trust a person who lies while under oath?

Five days before the election, Wikileaks revealed emails showing Clinton lied to the American people, the FBI and Congress saying she turned over all of her emails. She said using a private server was an “oops,” and she didn’t know that the “C” on documents meant “classified.” It’s interesting to note that while operating that private server—the one she didn’t know she wasn’t supposed to have—Mrs. Clinton created a video that was to be viewed by all State Department employees. The subject? Maintaining state secrets and the proper handling of emails. View her instructional video here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDBix0AlJ2E

4. Do I want to elect someone who is under criminal investigation for peddling influence?

Clinton went from being “dead broke” when she left office to a net worth of more than $300 million today. What business did she build? How did she get that much money? The Clintons gave 30-minute speeches and were paid $125,000 or more per speech. Bill Clinton was given honorary positions and paid millions of dollars. Is it logical there is no corruption here—or does it make more sense that the payees expected something in return?

5. Will I feel I did the right thing if our President is indicted?

It is now known that five to seven foreign intelligence agencies were able to hack in and gain access to national secrets via Clinton’s illegal server. If we elect Clinton and she were found guilty, she could be impeached and possibly forced from office. That is, unless she pardoned herself or was pardoned by President Obama. Richard Nixon was impeached after serving 15 months of his second term, and in the meantime, our nation suffered through months of investigations and an ugly trial. He did not pardon himself, and left office in disgrace. It’s one thing to unknowingly elect a crook, but to knowingly do so?
Whether in ignorance or by design, some believe this treatment of state secrets alone is disqualifying.

6. Is my vote against Donald Trump a valid way to communicate my opinions?

Some Christians want to register their disgust with Trump’s sins by voting against him. Some would like to punish what they believe is his racism, sexism, narcissism, etc. If he loses, Trump will happily return to his private sector empire, but the rest of us will be saddled with another 4 years of a left-wing agenda. So you might want to ask yourself if it’s worth punishing Trump when the result destroys the conservative platform.

Millions of Christians refused to vote for the Mitt Romney because he is a Mormon, and stayed home on election day. Will you be voting; and for whom? There are just a few days left to decide. May the Lord be with America as we all make this important choice.

Father, we ask for Your direction and guidance for our fellow citizens and our leaders. May You have the victory on election day.

Prov. 16:9 – A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
