Using 25th Amendment, Trump’s Enemies want him OUT

The Trump vs. CNN media fight took another turn on Sunday, causing more outcry for the President’s removal. The President altered footage from his appearance at a 2007 wrestling event to create a video for Twitter. He took a clip that showed him tackling the WWE chairman, and put a CNN logo over the man’s head. It created a video that shows him “taking down” CNN. The President added this message to his tweet: “CNN is Fraud News Network.”

This, and his earlier tweet about CNN’s “Crazy Joe” Scarborough and “Low IQ Mika” Brzezinski have seemingly put some of his enemies over the edge. “#25thAmendmentNow” became a top-trending tweet on Sunday night. It reflects the move by Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) to get President Trump removed from office, using Section 4 of the 25th Amendment. This put forth a bill that would create an oversight commission to prove the president is “incapacitated.” So far, the bill has 23 co-sponsors.

Under Section 4, the vice president along with a majority of the cabinet may make a determination that a president is “unable to discharge the powers and duties” of the office and have him removed. And, according to Raskin, who is a former constitutional law professor, it doesn’t have to be the cabinet only. The section also permits “such other body as Congress may by law provide.” Raskin wants to appoint psychiatrists and physicians to form this body.

Why this Matters: Since the idea of President Trump colluding with the Russians to sway the election has just about run its course with no evidence of such, it seems this will be the next avenue of pursuit. The Vice President would have to sign-on to this idea, and it’s highly unlikely he would do so–and that’s after the bill would pass a Republican-majority Congress. Thankfully, this is a fantasy.

Pray for the President. Pray the Lord would put an end to these evil schemes. Spirits of envy and jealousy are behind these efforts. Pray the Lord would expose them for what they are.

Job 5:2 – For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.
