Trump Nixes Iran Nuclear Deal,  Threatens Sanctions

President Trump was due to re-certify the Obama-era nuclear deal with Iran by May 12. Instead, he spoke on Tuesday to the American people explaining why he was pulling us out and what that means for the future.
Here are excerpts:
  • Iran is the leading state sponsor of terror, supporting Hezbollah, Hamas, Taliban and al Qaeda. Iran has murdered, kidnapped and tortured American citizens, and the Tehran regime steals from its own people.
  • In 2015, the U.S. entered a deal with other nations called JCPOA. In theory, it was supposed to protect us from an Iranian nuclear bomb, but instead it allowed them to continue enriching uranium and reach the brink of a nuclear breakout.
  • The U.S. gave the regime many billion of dollars, some of it in actual cash–an embarrassment to all US citizens. At heart was a fiction that the murderous regime deserved this nuclear program.
  • Last week we found out it was a lie. Israel showed the regime’s history of pursuing nuclear weapons. The deal never, ever should have been made.
  • Even though the Iranian economy is doing badly, the funding for their military and nuclear weapons has grown by 40 percent. If I allowed this deal to stand, there would soon be a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.
  • The inspection provision of the deal lacks mechanisms to detect and punish cheating. It fails to halt ambitions and doesn’t address their development of ballistic missiles as the delivery mechanism for nuclear weapons.
  • If the deal cannot be fixed, we will no longer be a party to it. We have consulted with allies and friends and are unified in our understanding of the threat. We cannot prevent a nuke bomb under the decaying and rotten structure of the current agreement. It’s defective at its core.
  • The U.S. no longer makes empty threats–when I make promises, I keep them.
  • Trump also addressed the Iranian people, calling them the longest-suffering victims. He said the people of America stand with them.
What comes next:
  • Key leaders in the administration and Congress are addressing the deal’s flaws. They are working to find a lasting solution to Iranian threat–to stop its terrorism, ballistic missile program, and menacing activity.
  • Effective today, the U.S. will begin a 90 day withdrawal from the Iran Deal. At completion of the 90 day process, sanctions against Iran will be implemented. Iran has 90 days to fix what ails the deal.
  • The President concluded that if we cannot renegotiate, the deal will be terminated. The longer we ignore a threat, the worse it becomes.
In the speech, the President said that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is on his way to North Korea to prepare for the President’s upcoming meeting with Kim. Trump said that with help of China, South Korea and Japan, security and great prosperity are ahead.

Top NY Democrat Resigns

After being accused of physical abuse by four women, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman resigned Monday night. This was just four hours after the story broke that he was involved in sadomasochistic sex and abuse. He is accused by four women of hitting, threatening, choking, and emotionally battering them, plus abusing alcohol and stealing their prescription drugs. Two of the women said they needed medical attention after his abuse.
Schneiderman tweeted:
“In the privacy of intimate relationships, I have engaged in role-playing and other consensual sexual activity. I have not assaulted anyone. I have never engaged in nonconsensual sex, which is a line I would not cross.”
Schneiderman, a Democrat, has been a fierce opponent of the President and his agenda–and therefore has been a favorite of the MSM. He used his authority to take legal action against Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein and is a crusader against the harassment of women. Schneiderman was elected as New York AG in 2010 and before that served for ten years in the New York State Senate.
The President knew something was not right several years ago. On September 11, 2013, he tweeted:
“Weiner is gone, Spitzer is gone – next will be lightweight A.G. Eric Schneiderman. Is he a crook? Wait and see, worse than Spitzer or Weiner”
Five days later Trump called him the “most incompetent and least respected AG in the U.S….a total joke!”
The story broke on Monday night in the New Yorker, written in part by Ronan Farrow, who also broke the information on Harvey Weinstein.

But that is just the tip of the iceberg.

Some other strange connections are between Scheiderman and the Bronfman family, heirs of the Seagrams Liquor empire. Edgar Bronfman donated $10,000 to Schneiderman in 2016. His daughters Clare and Sara run the NXIVM (pronounced “nexium”) sex cult that subjugates women as sex slaves and brands their lower abdomens. Edgar began studying Raniere’s teachings, but left the group, calling it a cult.
Keith Raniere, head of NXIVM, was arrested last month along with Smallville actress Allison Mack. Last week, it was reported that the group also conducted fright experiments, in which women were forced to watch horrific acts for research purposes.

Schneiderman didn’t investigate NXIVM despite allegations of misdeeds, nor did he investigate the Clintons.

  • He turned a blind eye when the Clinton Foundation didn’t identify its foreign donors. This made it impossible to make the pay-to-play connections between Clinton foundation donors and the Clinton’s misuse of her position as Secretary of State.
  • The Foundation and a subsidiary, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, took $225 million in government donations between 2010 and 2014. Under New York law, that should have been reported. It wasn’t and Schneiderman should have caught it and rectified the omission. He was a member of Clinton’s “leadership council.”
  • NXIVM executives, top associates and family members donated $29,900 to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign. At least three of the group’s top echelon were invitation-only members of the Clinton Global Initiative, and paid $15,000 per person per year for the privilege.
Schneiderman also received $25,000 to $30,000 per year from George Soros and his sons from 2015-2017.
Why this Matters: Did Donald Trump know about all of this from the beginning; and are there more revelations to come? In this tweet from him on August 25, 2013, he implies that Scheiderman has information on Obama and Cuomo that they might not want made pubic:
“What did our very stupid & ineffective A.G. Eric Schneidean, during his trips to MY office, tell me about President Obama & Governor Cuomo?”

Russia Collusion Investigation Update

  • The President says he would respond to questions in the Russia collusion investigation in writing. However, Robert Mueller has rejected this offer. The next step would be for Mueller to subpoena Trump. If he refuses to comply, the matter would likely end up before the Supreme Court.
  • Last week, the House Intel Committee was finally given un-redacted copies of the report on the Russia collusion investigation. They were concealing conflicting explanations and clouded judgments on the use of FISA warrants, and the agents’ own beliefs that Michael Flynn did not lie in his testimony. Flynn was later charged with lying and pled guilty.
  • The DOJ had initially refused to provide the full report in an un-blacked out form because they said it would damage investigations and national security.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12
Pray for God to send His army of angels to bring down all human traffickers and all forms of wickedness in high places
