North Korea Dismantles Test Site, But Threatens to Back Out of Meeting

As promised, Kim Jong-un has begun dismantling a nuclear test site in preparation for it to close next week. The facility was North Korea’s primary site where the last five nuclear tests were performed. Satellite images show the site was dilapidated even before some buildings were razed. Analysts say Kim may be removing details he doesn’t want exposed during a ceremony planned for May 23-25.

There seems to be some problems ahead of the June 12 summit between Trump and Kim. One bone of contention is the joint military drills between the U.S. and South Korea. North Korea’s news agency calls them a provocation and says the U.S. looks to be preparation for an invasion. Therefore, Kim canceled his Wednesday meeting with South Korea’s President Moon.

The White House said on Wednesday that they fully expected Kim’s threats. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders added, “The president is very used to being ready for tough negotiations and if they want to meet, we’ll be ready, and if they don’t, that’s okay, too.” She said the U.S will “continue our campaign of maximum pressure” against Kim’s regime.

The State Department, now under Mike Pompeo who has personally met with Kim, said they had not heard directly from North Korea.

Why this Matters: Truth or Fiction? The Trump insider called Q is calling this fake news. North Korea has acted this way in the past, and peace talks stalled out. This time we have the dismantling of the nuclear site, verified by satellite images, but there are no guarantees. This may just be part of the game Kim likes to play.

Senate Panel Finds Russia Helped Trump

According to Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC), the Senate intel committee has hit a wall in their investigation into the allegation that Trump colluded with the Russians to sway the 2016 election. Burr said they cannot decide the credibility of the dossier because they don’t know who paid for it and have not been given the names of sources, or sub-sources.

The committee met with former NSA Director Mike Rogers, former CIA Director John Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence, James Clapper.

Burr said the committee has been trying to rebuild backwards, but they’re stuck at June 2016. In order to put the pieces together, they hope to hear from Christopher Steele about his intent and actions in the creation of the dossier. Steele is British and a former spy.

After spending 14 months reviewing sources, tradecraft, analytic work, Burr said the committee has no reason to dispute the conclusion that Russia tried to interfere with our 2016 elections to help Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, the House intel committee found just the opposite: Russia did not see to help Trump win.

Other news regarding the investigation:

  • James Comey, former FBI Director, was also asked to meet with the Senate panel, but didn’t show up.
  • On May 15th, Reps. Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows and Ron DeSantis of the House Freedom Caucus sent a letter to the President asking him to instruct Attorney General Jeff Sessions to immediately produce all documents relating to the Russia-collusion investigation.
  • Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani reported on Wednesday that Special Counsel Robert Mueller said he would abide by Justice Department guidelines, which prohibit an indictment of the President for non-criminal actions.
  • A story in the New York Times says that FBI was worried that if it came out they were spying on the Trump campaign, it would “only reinforce his claims that the election was being rigged against him.”
  • A new leak reveals that Comey sent Peter Strzok to London 90 days before the election. He was dispatched in order to launch the Trump-Russia collusion investigation. It was codenamed “Crossfire Hurricane.”

Why this Matters: Most Americans are fed up with this investigation. What may happen now is Mueller will officially drop the President from review and then continue probing into Russian interference in the election.

According to Q, the President met with Robert Mueller before he was appointed as Special Counsel to interview for the position of FBI Director. The odd thing is, Mueller, as former FBI Director, was ineligible to serve in that position again. Q suggests this is all a ruse to get everything “in evidence” so that people like Clapper, Comey, Brennan, and Strzok will be caught and can be prosecuted.

Latest Censorship Efforts by
Twitter, Google

On Tuesday, Twitter said it was taking steps to limit behaviors that “distort and detract” from public conversation. In layman’s terms, this means that if you talk about God, guns, and are pro-Trump, your account is more likely to be classified as a robot, or “bot” and “troll-like.” It will be down-ranked by Twitter and your posts will be harder to find.

With this announcement, Twitter is making their ongoing censorship official. Look for conservatives, Christians, and those who criticize Hillary, Obama, et al, to continue being booted off the social media platform.

Why this Matters: Twitter employees have been caught on camera admitting that they also “shadowban” conservatives, which is the practice of limiting of visibility of tweets but not officially suspending the account, deleting content, or notifying the account holder. However, in Senate hearings, Twitter employees denied doing so.

Reporters on Breitbart say Google Home, the personal assistant, is biased against them. They tested six Google Home devices, asking for headlines at Breitbart News. The devices all responded,

“I quit Breitbart because of the lying. Sarah Huckabee Sanders [Trump Press Secretary] should take a cue.”

This is a headline from a Huffington Post article written by Kurt Bardella.

Google later responded that the problem had been “fixed.” Now when asked for Breitbart headlines, the device responds,

“Sorry, I’m not sure how to help with that.”

Why this Matters: Some people are so in love with new tech and convenience that they are willing to let Google think for them! Thank you for reading this newsletter, keeping up with the things that matter, and especially for praying.

How to Pray:

  • For peace on the Korean peninsula
  • For the violence to end in Israel and for the strife that has been stirred up by Hamas to return upon them.
  • For an end to the ridiculous Trump-Russia collusion investigation, and a full exoneration of all who are innocent.
  • For fair and un-censored social media platforms and for all fake news outlets to utterly fail.

Hosea 4:6 – My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
