The Set-Up Before the Fireworks?

President Trump may be setting up the opposition by identifying Jeff Sessions as an incompetent Attorney General. Sessions backed out of his role as supervisor of the Russia collusion investigation because he spoke one time to Russia’s ambassador to the US. Sessions said they exchanged a few words at a cocktail party. That was enough for the Democrats and MSM (mainstream media) to cry foul and demand that Sessions recuse himself, which he did. Now Rod Rosenstein, number two at the Justice Department, is in charge of the ongoing investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

For many months since, we have watched a somewhat confusing “show” where Trump publicly humiliates Sessions, and the Attorney General stalwartly carries on, seeming to do nothing even though mountains of evidence continue to stack up against the Clinton/Obama cabal.

In recent months, Trump’s salvos have gotten more intense. Complain as he might, his attorney general continues to be AWOL, even for Hillary’s email scandal, the latest revelation being that a copy of every one of her State Department communications was sent to the Chinese.

Under any other Attorney General, Hillary would have been prosecuted. This leaves even the most loyal conservative wondering why Jeff Sessions refuses to act–and others demanding he be fired.

On Labor Day, Trump lashed out with renewed accusations that Sessions is playing politics and allowing two Republicans to be charged with crimes just weeks before the 2018 elections. Both Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) and Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) have been under investigation since Obama was president. Yet Sessions chose to charge them just weeks before the crucial November elections.

Trump tweeted:

According to a new poll, a majority of Americans back Mueller and Sessions, while the president’s disapproval is at 60 percent. The Democrats, media, and even many on the Right are lining up to defend Sessions against the President. Was this attack on Sessions a big mistake by a failing President–or a brilliant play by a master strategist?

Q, the Trump insider, posted this on Monday:

• A diagram of 27 Media Twitter accounts using the same phrase, “Trump blasts Sessions.” (see photo above)
• Comedian Kathy Griffin (who published a photo of herself holding a bloody head representing the President) tweeted, “I never thought I’d want Jeff Sessions to stay on as Attorney General but at this point it’s the only way to guarantee that Mueller and Rosenstein won’t be messed with. That’s how low we are right now…”
• A list of 15 top officials at the FBI/DoJ who have been recently fired, or were forced out.
• After posting the above tweet from Trump (“The Democrats, none of whom voted for Jeff Sessions, must love him now”), Q commented, “with love comes trust. Schedule changes can be very painful.”
• Perhaps Q is suggesting that the Congressional sessions this week, which are supposed to be the beginning of the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court confirmation hearings in the Senate, and the testimony of Jack Dorsey of Twitter in the House, will be bumped aside to present something more important.
• This post. If you line the letters up in order, they spell DECLAS, which would mean the unveiling of the previously classified information, including requests by the Obama administration to spy on Trump and his associates. Those warrants, which were supposed to be approved in a hearing, were simply rubber-stamped by the FISA court judges because there were no compelling reasons to surveil Trump or his team.
• The capitalization of SESSIONS in the post suggests something big is going to be brought into the light.

Let’s remember, there’s been quite a bit of collusion, but not by Trump:

1. There was an FBI operation called Crossfire Hurricane designed to implicate Trump in fixing the vote. It began well before the election and required:

• The use of a phony dossier
• Tricking Trump’s son and others into a meeting with a Russian lawyer
• Getting judges to repeatedly rubber stamp warrants to spy on Trump and his team before and after the election
• Entrapping Trump volunteers to frame them in order to suggest they were involved in illicit activities
• Hand-in-glove cooperation from the mainstream media–including publishing (as former FBI Director James Comey phrased it) “salacious and unverified” information contained in the dossier as fact.

2. The direction to spy on Trump came from President Obama (this was an unplanned admission by former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper).

3. Obama was kept informed of the operation’s progress in his Presidential Daily Briefings, which leave a paper trail. Remember that Trump wanted nothing to do with these PDB’s before his inauguration. One day soon, the President could order them to be released.

4. FBI agents such as Peter Strzok and Bruce Ohr acted as go-betweens for the agency and its paid foreign spies. This has been revealed recently by some of the media.

5. Other US allies assisted in the operation, such as Britain’s GCHQ (an “eavesdropping” agency). We are waiting for this to be fully proven, with John Brennan, the former CIA director, at the center of arranging it.

Why this Matters: All of this begs the question: is Trump setting up Sessions as an enemy in his own house so that he can clean house? Sessions appointed US Attorney John Huber to conduct a full-fledged criminal investigation into all these matters, which he has been doing since November 13, 2017. It will be much harder for the Left to accuse Sessions of politicizing the proceedings if they are on record defending him.

How to Pray: For the Lord, who loves justice and judgment, to make a way for everything to be exposed and for those who have continually dug pits for the President to fall into a deep pit themselves. Pray that Americans will begin to think for themselves instead of trusting outlets such as CNN to do their thinking for them.
