Despite what You’re Hearing,
We Have Seven Reasons to Rejoice
The Mainstream Media would have you believe that another nail in the coffin of Trump’s demise will be the failed confirmation of Supreme Court nominee. On Wednesday, leading Democrats called for Kavanaugh to withdraw his name, but according to his lawyer, he is in it for the long haul.
On the eve of the scheduled testimonies of these accusers, let’s look at the facts and six other reasons it’s time for us to rejoice and not despair:
1. Rejoice! Hillary is not your president
On the morning of November 8, 2016, we were told that Hillary had a 97 percent chance of winning the presidential election. Most of us went out and voted, anyway, feeling that this was our last chance to save what was left of our Republic. Many of us knew what would happen if she won–expansions of abortion, confiscation of our firearms, deepening censorship, and the list goes on.
Enter Donald Trump, billionaire developer, author of The Art of the Deal, and master of reality television. As he said when he campaigned, “This election is a crossroads in the history of our civilization.”
He was right. That’s why the establishment Elites hate Trump and want to do everything they can to destroy him. But, try as they might, they are failing. The Constitution is being re-established as the governing force of our country, and the American people will soon be in control of their government once again.
2. Rejoice! False accusers can be expected but their accusations will not stand (2 Tim. 3:3)
The accusations against Brett Kavanaugh are falling apart, looking less about the tragedy of sexual victimization, and more about Democrats using several women’s foggy and alcohol-laden memories to twist the narrative and demonize an honorable man.
Allegation #1- Christine Blasey Ford says Kavanaugh tried to rape her 36 years ago.
– Ford is scheduled to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday. Her story is uncorroborated and important details are missing.
– Ford is not sure of year, date or month of the incident and told no one at the time, not even her mother or best friend.
– The four people she said were at the party, including a life-long friend, denied all knowledge of the gathering.
– Sen. Dianne Feinstein, who first received the allegation in July, held onto it until the week before the vote to confirm Kavanaugh, making it look like nothing more than a political hit-job.
– Ford’s own family (parents and two siblings) didn’t sign a letter of support of her allegations and her integrity.
– The story she told her therapist, which she is using as proof that this happened, didn’t include Kavanaugh as the assailant. However, she told the Washington Post she was troubled when Kavanaugh was named as a possible Supreme Court nominee in 2016–even though he wasn’t added to Trump’s list until November 2017.
Allegation #2, Deborah Ramirez says he exposed himself 35 years ago.
Ramirez says Kavanaugh exposed himself to her–or waived a sex object in her face–at a party when she was drunk. The New York Times asked dozens of witnesses to back her up, but none of them could. She is demanding the FBI investigate before she testifies before the Senate.
The Senate Judiciary Committee’s lawyer says he has asked seven times for Ramirez’s attorneys to provide evidence before they move to the next steps.
Accuser #3, Julie Swetnik, says Kavanaugh lined women up for gang rape.
Swetnik has chosen Michael Avenatti (attorney for Trump accuser Stormy Daniels) as her lawyer. On Wednesday, Avenatti published her photo on Twitter saying, “Here is a picture of my client Julie Swetnick. She is courageous, brave and honest. We ask that her privacy and that of her family be respected.”
Swetnik doesn’t not accuse Kavanaugh of assault, she claims she witnessed him participate in gang rapes. Her sworn statement reads:
“I became aware of efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh and others to spike the punch with drugs and/or grain alcohol.”
Swetnik says she has a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms in at least ten parties, waiting for their turn to rape the girl inside. She became the victim of one of these gang rapes where Kavanaugh was present. She says she told at least two other people.
Logic would question her continued attendance at parties where this went on–and complicity in not telling authorities about the rapes.
Kavanaugh has denied each of these accusations. Of the allegation by Ramirez, he said, “This is ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone. I don’t know who this is and this never happened.”
Kavanaugh has submitted five pages from his 1982 calendar to the Senate Judiciary Committee. His lawyers say the pages prove Kavanaugh was not at a 1982 house party where accuser Christine Blasey Ford alleges he tried to rape her.
3. Rejoice! We’re not at war with North Korea
In Wednesday’s press conference, President Trump took the opportunity to remind us that we’re not at war with North Korea, although we were a country “going to war” at the end of the Obama presidency.
Instead, Kim Jong-Un is now dismantling his nuclear test sites; there have been no rockets fired and no missiles tested for more than a year. Trump warned that Kim could start up his program again, therefore the President has ordered that the sanctions against the North Koreans continue until the nuclear program has been completely dismantled.
Instead of being embroiled in a catastrophic war with millions being killed, the two Koreas are in ongoing negotiations, and have even asked the Olympic committee to consider the two countries as joint hosts for upcoming Olympic games.
4. Rejoice! More Americans are working and prospering
The President summed up the state of the American economy in his address to the United Nations on Wednesday.
“In less than two years, my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country… We’ve added $10 trillion in wealth. The stock market is at an all-time high in history, and jobless claims are at a 50-year low. African American, Hispanic American, and Asian American unemployment have all achieved their lowest levels ever recorded. We’ve added more than 4 million new jobs, including half a million manufacturing jobs.
“We have passed the biggest tax cuts and reforms in American history. We’ve started the construction of a major border wall, and we have greatly strengthened border security.
“We have secured record funding for our military — $700 billion this year, and $716 billion next year. Our military will soon be more powerful than it has ever been before.”
5. Rejoice! Our President puts America first
President Trump used his speech to the UN to remind us that the US lost 3+ million manufacturing jobs, nearly a quarter of all steel jobs, and 60,000 factories after China joined the World Trade Organization. The US also racked up $13 trillion in trade deficits over the past 20 years.
He said:
“But those days are over. We will no longer tolerate such abuse. We will not allow our workers to be victimized, our companies to be cheated, and our wealth to be plundered and transferred. America will never apologize for protecting its citizens.
“The United States has just announced tariffs on another $200 billion in Chinese-made goods for a total, so far, of $250 billion. I have great respect and affection for my friend, President Xi, but I have made clear our trade imbalance is just not acceptable. China’s market distortions and the way they deal cannot be tolerated.”
6. Rejoice! The Media doesn’t take advantage of Trump, Trump takes advantage of the media
During the press conference on Wednesday, Trump used their “gotcha” questions as a green light to tell his side of the story–things the MSM refuses to print:
- The Chinese may not like Trump, but they respect him
- Trump prefers not to fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein (there have been calls that he do so)
- The border wall will be completed
- (Regarding Kavanaugh) “It’s a very dangerous period in our country and it’s being perpetrated by some very evil people–some of them are Democrats.”
- Trump could have a lot more Supreme Court nominees; however with these politics of destruction, good candidates might turn him down
- Women are very angry about what the Democrats are doing with the Supreme Court confirmation; Trump believes they’re smarter than men
7. Rejoice! The globalists’ doctrine has been exposed and rejected
Trump’s UN address included stern words for the globalist agenda:
“I honor the right of every nation in this room to pursue its own customs, beliefs, and traditions. The United States will not tell you how to live or work or worship. We only ask that you honor our sovereignty in return.
“As my administration has demonstrated, America will always act in our national interest. America is governed by Americans. We reject the ideology of globalism, and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism.
“Around the world, responsible nations must defend against threats to sovereignty–not just from global governance, but also from other, new forms of coercion and domination.
“So together, let us choose a future of patriotism, prosperity, and pride. Let us choose peace and freedom over domination and defeat. And let us come here to this place to stand for our people and their nations, forever strong, forever sovereign, forever just, and forever thankful for the grace and the goodness and the glory of God.
“We are standing up for America and for the American people. And we are also standing up for the world.”
Why this Matters: The United States is the largest Christian nation in the world, having over 240 million church-going citizens. Believers overwhelmingly supported Trump, having faith that he was sent by God to restore justice and remove evil. Even though elections count, we don’t count on elections. Our strength, our joy, our future and our hope is in the LORD. We know that this is not a battle between flesh and blood; it is a spiritual battle that will be won by God’s intervention through prayer.
How to Pray: Thank You Father for giving us a man to govern our country who gives glory and honor to You. Give him a straight path to walk and keep him humble. Thank You for seating the next Supreme Court Justice–a person who will protect our rights and the lives of unborn children. We praise You because You are in charge and You take pleasure in executing righteousness through Your people. We lift up the Kavanaugh family, asking for protection and for provision. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Zech. 3:1-2 – And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
Zech 4:6 – Not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord
