Now He’s Accused of Throwing Ice Cubes!

Just when you thought the desperate attempts to thwart the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court couldn’t get any more vile, the latest account is that the judge got into a bar fight in 1985 and threw ice cubes. This story in The New York Times was written by a left-wing anti-Kavanaugh activist.

As one tongue-in-cheek tweet stated, the FBI would be investigating, except the evidence has melted.

One of Kavanaugh’s accusers, Julie Swetnik, who has become the latest media darling, said Kavanaugh was responsible for spiking the punch at Yale parties in order to line girls up for gang rapes.

Swetnik provided four names of corroborating witnesses. One person said “I don’t remember a Julie Swetnik,” another is deceased, and two others have yet to respond. Her signed affidavit, taken by the porn lawyer Michael Avenatti, said she also saw Kavanaugh “engage in abusive and physically aggressive behavior toward girls,” “grind” on girls, and “drink excessively.”

On NBC Monday night, Swetnik seemed uncertain about the same events, saying she didn’t know what Kavanaugh did exactly, but she saw him by the punch bowl. This is the same woman who said she went to 10 of these gang rape parties, saw other women being assaulted but kept going to them before being assaulted herself.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee received a letter on Tuesday from a man who knew Swetnik in the 90s. They discussed having sex and she wanted him to participate in group sex. He turned her down. The account came from Dennis Ketterer, who also said he later had a conversation with Swetnik’s father who said she had psychological problems.

Swetnik is no stranger to sexual misconduct. A former boyfriend filed a restraining order against her. She also sued a former employer for sexual misconduct and lost the trial.

The New York Times is now preparing to smear Kavanaugh again, this time for being a party planner for a trip to the beach in the 80s. The evidence is a letter penned by Kavanaugh to other boys, in which he joked about letting neighbors know that “we’re loud, obnoxious drunks with prolific pukers among us.”

New Attacks on GOP and Trump Officials

Kavanaugh is not the only target of Liberal haters. On Tuesday, within the same hour, several people were attacked.

  • A deadly toxin called ricin was sent to Secretary of Defense James Mattis and one other Trump administration official. The package was intercepted by security before it got to them.
  • Two staffers for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) were hospitalized after they opened an envelope with white power.
  • Protesters broke down GOP Congressman Andy Harris’s (R-MD) door and assaulted him.

Despite the attacks and the pushback against Kavanaugh, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell affirmed that the vote would be this week and there would be a confirmation.

A six-page report by Rachel Mitchell, the professional sexual assault prosecutor who questioned Dr. Christine Blasey Ford last Thursday, suggests there is very little that a further investigation into the event will uncover. Her opinion is that Ford’s accusations against Kavanaugh completely lack credence. She wrote:

1. This very weak “he said/she said” case is made even weaker because Ford’s witnesses all denied there having been any such incident.

2. No reasonable prosecutor would have brought such a case based on the evidence.

3. No consistent account was offered by Ford; she gave varying dates (mid 80s in her July 6th text to the Washington Post; early 80s in her July 30 letter to Sen. Dianne Feinstein, early 80s–then crossed out “early”–in her August 7 polygraph; summer of 1982 in the Washington Post Sept. article; and late teens in her notes from a 2013 therapy session. In Ford’s testimony, she said she was 15.

4. Kavanaugh was not identified in the 2012 or 2013 therapy notes, even though Ford’s husband said that’s when she identified Kavanaugh. She would not provide therapy notes to the Committee.

5. Ford does not remember the time, place, or how she got to the party and is inconsistent in how many people attended the gathering and how many were in the room when she was assaulted.

On Tuesday, more damaging information was discovered: a study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology in 2008, by Ford and others. It concerned several methods of dealing with depression, including yoga, meditation and hypnosis. The study also looked at self-hypnosis and how it can be used to retrieve important memories.

Why this Matters: The Democrats are perfecting the art of “projection,” in which one accuses another of what they themselves are doing. Rep. Maizie Hirono (D-HI) showed America just how well this can be done.

She said on Monday,

“Making misleading statements is a pattern with Kavanaugh. He accuses the Democratic Senators of coordinating a plot to sabotage his nomination. Clearly he was speaking to an audience of one: President Trump. Kavanaugh is so rattled, he would buy into a vast conspiracy, which is astounding and dangerous. Kavanaugh is a partisan political operative with an agenda.”

Pray for Senators to soundly confirm Judge Kavanaugh and that God would repay those who tried to destroy him.

Trump Announces Replacement for NAFTA

On Monday, President Trump announced he had completed negotiations with Canada and Mexico for the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which will replace the North American Free Trade Agreement that Trump calls a “disaster.” The provisions include:

  • Forcing auto manufacturers to use parts made in the US
  • Eliminating Canada’s Class 7 program used to undersell American dairy products

The agreement must be signed by Congress, and the President hopes that he and the other two leaders will be able to sign it into law by the end of November.

Pray for the people of Indonesia who are suffering the aftermath of Friday’s tsunami; at least 1,200 have died.

Pray for Christians to be encouraged despite the onslaught of negative news by the media, and that they will wake up and show up at the polls November 6

1 Th. 5:5-10 – Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
