One of the things that makes people angry is President Trump’s lack of pretense. He says what he thinks and they just don’t like it. As the President signed the veto to override the congressional halt to his declaration of a national emergency at the southern border, he said he was stopping an invasion.
Politicians who want who want globalism and open borders were furious. How dare he use the same word as found in the “manifesto” penned by the New Zealand gunman?
The President is unafraid to speak plainly, and everyday Americans thank God he says what he means, and means what he says.
Then there are the Pretenders
Over the last two weeks, two groups of people are being exposed for their giant fabrications. One group is getting arrested and will be prosecuted, while the other group is getting ready for the 2020 election.
1. First, let’s look at the least dangerous offenders. These would be the 50+ CEOs, actors and actresses, and others arrested for a college entrance scam that is rocking the world of higher education. While they preach to us about being inclusive and “real,” they live another reality, Fearing their children wouldn’t get into the college of their choice, these parents exchanged “donations” to a sham charity for higher exam scores or phony athletic scholarships.
- Some used proctors to help kids’ cheat on entrance exams
- Others had stand-ins take the tests for them
- The really creative frauds passed their kids off as athletes, altering Facebook photos to portray the kids as sports stars
Anything to get in!
Caught in the act are Hollywood stars, including Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives), her husband William Macy, and Hallmark leading lady Lori Loughlin.
The fraud kept other, truly qualified students from getting into prestigious institutions. Now several students are suing Yale, Georgetown, Stanford, the University of Texas, and other schools because they were denied a fair shot at admission. The schools responded that they are also victims of the crime. The FBI is just getting started revealing details, and suggest that more than 750 families are involved.
2. Now about that other group: AOC and the Democrat lineup for the 2020 presidential election. (Pictured above: “Beto” O’Rourke and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.)
AOC is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the freshman representative from the Bronx. She is causing no end of trouble for Nancy Pelosi and the establishment with her “Green New Deal” and cadre of protesters. Cortez, 28, didn’t take her district by storm because she is an educated political scientist, she was a bartender who auditioned for the part!
It was a brilliant scheme hatched by a group called the Justice Democrats. They targeted pivotal Democrat congressional seats and held auditions across the country. They threw their expertise and millions of dollars behind the actors they chose: Cortez is one, and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is another.
Let’s look at the power center behind Cortez who organized her fundraising, social media, and platform.
- The real “stars” include tech millionaire Saikat Chakrabarti—who helped run
- Bernie’s campaign and is AOC’s chief of staff—and Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks.
- Uygur has a popular online news show and bragged about taking over the Democrat Party seeking “social, economic, and racial justice.”
- AOC’s brilliant moments on camera are scripted; when she goes off-script she trips over her own words and is incoherent.
- Cortez’s brainchild, the Green New Deal was written by this team over one weekend. This $93 trillion impossible proposal is backed by every one of the 2020 candidates.
Speaking of the 2020 candidates, among them are two absolute pretenders: Elizabeth Warren and Robert (Beto) O’Rourke.
Elizabeth Warren was hired at Harvard because she lied on her application, saying she is Native American. Harvard was looking to add more minorities. Later, she released her ancestry, which is “possibly 1/1024th indigenous.” She later apologized to the Cherokee Nation for claiming Native American ancestry for more than 30 years.
Robert Francis O’Rourke portrays himself as having a special connection to Hispanics—he’s from El Paso—and uses the cultural nickname “Beto.” But many Latinos are not buying it and resent him for trying to ingratiate himself with the Latin community.
Last week, O’Rourke’s other bad choices made it into the headlines:
- He wrote a fantasy about running down children and killing them, “I was so fascinated for a moment, that when after I had stopped my vehicle, I just sat in a daze, sweet visions filling my head.”
- He was in a “furry” band. Furries wear animal costumes and attend conventions. Some of the furries participate in bizarre sexual activities. O’Rourke dressed as a sheep.
- O’Rourke has also admitted to being part of a notorious hacking group called the Cult of the Dead Cow. He says he regrets the things he did as a teenager.

Why this Matters: There’s one area where Nancy Pelosi, Beto O’Rourke, AOC, Warren and other Democrats aren’t pretending. All are standing strong against the border wall and insist on allowing illegals to vote, to be counted in the census, and to remain unfettered in the US.
- Pelosi calls illegals “newcomers,”
- She supports Sanctuary cities that harbor criminal illegals
- She led the fight against Trump’s National Emergency to prevent him from using military funding to build the wall and support border enforcement
Nancy and her fellows were caught on camera hanging out with former Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto in May 2016. Peña Nieto has fought President Trump on the border wall. Birds of a feather!
Why do Democrats insist on open borders–is it more than just ensuring a new supply of Democrat voters?
In the January US trial of Mexican drug kingpin “El Chapo” Guzmán, a witness claimed that Peña Nieto accepted a bribe of $100 million from Guzmán. Peña Nieto’s spokesman denied the claim. Whether he did or didn’t, stopping one man doesn’t end the power of the cartels, or their need to pay policy makers to keep the “rat lines” open into the US.
How to Pray: For every corrupt politician to be exposed, for every line of trafficking (no matter what the “commodity”) to be cut, and for God to restore law and order in the US.
How to Pray: Pray for President Trump, his cabinet, policy makers at the national, state, and local level to make wise decisions. Pray for the safety of our armed forces, law enforcers, and first responders who put their lives on the line for us every day.
Pray for the freedom of victims and that they will receive justice.
Ps. 26:4 – I do not sit with the deceitful, nor do I associate with hypocrites.
Luke 16:13 – No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
I Tim. 6:10 – For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
