Special Counsel Robert Mueller finished his investigation into President Trump regarding obstruction of justice and collusion with Russia to affect the outcome of the 2016 election. On Sunday, Attorney General William Barr released a four-page summary memo to Congress stating it’s over, several people and entities were indicted, and no further indictments are recommended.

The Investigation

Mueller’s team employed 19 lawyers–most of whom supported Hillary–and 40 FBI agents. It cost us at least $25 million. The team served 2800 subpoenas and 500 search warrants, interviewed 500 witnesses, gathered 230 communications records, tapped 50 phones, and made 13 foreign government intelligence requests.

The Findings

• The investigation did not find that the Trump campaign or anyone associated with it conspired or coordinated with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 US presidential election.
• The Russians had a disinformation/social media operation in the US to sow discord and interfere in the election. A number of Russian nationals and entities were indicted (to no avail, because there is no extradition treaty between US and Russia.)
• The Russians tried to hack computers to gather info and influence the election. They targeted Hillary and the DNC and were successful.

The President has been fully exonerated, although the Fake News media is trying to suggest that the findings weren’t definitive because of the wording used. Regarding obstruction of justice, the Special Counsel states that “while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

What does this mean?

1. Mueller was supposed to investigate and prosecute criminals, not act as a judge or jury to declare someone guilty or innocent (or exonerate).
2. He found no evidence of guilt that could be tried in a court.
3. That fact in and of itself exonerates the President.

On Tuesday, The Hill ran an apology for the treatment of President Trump.

Others are finding it hard to admit treasonous behavior.

• Former CIA Director John Brennan, who is a paid analyst for MSNBC, excused his behavior by saying he believed false information. This is particularly odd. First, as head of an intelligence-gathering agency, he got fooled? And second, Brennan likely helped orchestrate the hoax and was in on it from the beginning.
• CNN CEO Jeff Zucker defended his organization, saying, “We’re not investigators. We’re journalists. Our role is to report the facts as we know them, which is exactly what we did.” CNN in fact peddled the unverified and salacious Trump dossier as though it was truth and often quoted unnamed sources for their “facts.”
• Mum’s the word from The Washington Post and The New York Times. Their journalists won the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for reporting on President Donald Trump’s collusion with Russia that never happened. Will they have to return their $15,000 award for “Deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interest that dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign, the President-elect’s transition team and his eventual administration”?

Next Up

Two other investigations have not yet concluded. Inspector General Michael Horowitz and US Attorney John Huber are investigating the FBI and Department of Justice and their mis-handling of the investigations into Trump and Hillary. These probes are also looking into Hillary’s use of an illegal server, her 33,000 missing emails, and her family charity, as well as the abuse of the FISA process to spy on Trump and other issues.

Why this Matters: President Trump’s communications director sent a memo on Monday to TV producers asking them to employ “basic journalistic standards” when booking guests. Included in the memo was a list of guests who have made outlandish, false claims:

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), DNC Chair Tom Perez, and John Brennan.

Notice a theme?

Nadler and Schiff are conducting further investigations and recently put together a list of 81 family, friends, and associates of Trump whom they would be calling to testify against the President. If you have a Democrat representing you in Congress, call his or her office and politely demand they end this witch hunt now.

Making America Victorious Again

Obamacare Unconstitutional. The Department of Justice determined that the entire Obamacare law should be struck down because it is unconstitutional. A US District Court judge ruled in December 2018 that the Obamacare individual mandate was rendered unconstitutional when it was partially repealed in 2017. The ruling was appealed, but this DOJ endorsement could mean it is treated as unconstitutional while the case moves through the federal appeals process.

Wall Gets $1 Billion. The Pentagon notified Congress that it has authorized $1 billion to be transferred for new wall construction along the southern border.

Michael Avenatti Charged. Avenatti, the lawyer for pornographer Stormy Daniels, who tried to sue Donald Trump, has been charged with attempting to extort $20M from Nike. Avenatti’s co-conspirator is Mark Geragos, a CNN contributor and lawyer for disgraced actor/fraud Jussie Smollett, Colin Kapernick (the kneeling football player) and Claire Bronfman, who was part of the NXIVM sex cult/trafficking organization.

Ohio Defunds Planned Parenthood. After videos released of PP selling baby body parts, several states are taking steps to cut funding to the abortion provider. Last week, a federal court upheld Ohio’s action.

How to Pray: Thank God for His judgment and justice! Pray that He will continue to expose the unrighteous, defend babies, and secure our nation. Pray that unbelievers will see that these things are happening because God cares about His people, hears our cries, and has answered us with His mercy.
