Imagine you are reading a spy novel. It begins with a beloved American president and his successor, both confident of a peaceful transfer of power. All that’s needed is a formal vote on election day, which is not a problem. The successor is a female, former first lady, and arguably, the most powerful woman in the world. She deserves this, and everyone who matters is sure she will win.

But just there’s always a slight chance things won’t go that way. So the President and his team have to come up with an insurance plan. It involves proving their opponents are really Russian agents! There are two men that look to be headed for the nomination. The plan will go like this:

1. Begin spying on the two campaigns—when one candidate wins the nomination, focus only on him

2. Get help from US allies, such as England and Australia, and plant spies within his campaign

3. Get an opposition research firm to concoct a phony “dossier” of salacious and unverified dirt on the opponent. It will be funded by the FBI, the Democrat National Committee, and the former first lady’s presidential campaign

4. Use the FBI and CIA and foreign spies to entrap people from the opponent’s campaign, plant information on them as “proof” they are part of a collusion scheme with Russia, and record everything.

5. Take the phony dossier and have it leaked to the press. At first no one will buy it, but finally a sleazy rag will publish the information and viola’, it’s picked up by The New York Times and other publications with the headline: Russian Collusion.

6. Encourage public pressure to conduct an investigation. Every day choose a different aspect of the Russia Collusion narrative and pass it to journalists and politicians in a 4 a.m. text. They repeat this like the team players they are. All the public will hear is how the candidate colluded with Russia. And in the off chance case he gets elected, this collusion narrative can be used over and over again, making things so bad for him, he’ll either resign or be removed from office.

And that’s just the first four chapters!

In this novel, there are no good guys left in government, no one who wants to investigate the investigators, no one who wants to get to the bottom of it.

The media is in the tank and there’s nowhere to turn.

And then you, dear reader, throw the book down and say, “Nope. Too much of a stretch. This could never happen in America.”

But this isn’t fiction

Every day, we learn more and more facts that prove these things happened at the direction of President Barack Obama, for the benefit of Hillary Clinton. It is a slow coup, involving top level people in the Obama administration and the holdovers who are still in government. Yet, there’s good news. President Donald Trump isn’t impeached, he’s not being removed, and the hunters have now become the hunted and the whole nest of vipers is about to be exposed.

This week a Senate subcommittee on appropriations (budgeting) invited Attorney General William Barr to appear before them. They wanted to know about the Mueller investigation, which cost around $30 million, went on for 675 days, utilized 18 mostly Hillary-supporting lawyers and found that Donald Trump did not collude with Russia, nor did he obstruct justice.

Barr said “I think spying did occur, but the question is whether it was adequately predicated and I am not suggesting that it wasn’t adequately predicated. … I am not suggesting those rules were violated, but I think it is important to look at that. And I am not talking about the FBI necessarily, but intelligence agencies more broadly.

“I think spying on a political campaign is a big deal. It’s a big deal.”

Barr is reviewing the origins of the Russia investigation at the FBI and the Justice Department. He said that multiple spy agencies are implicated in unauthorized surveillance–spying–on the Trump campaign. This is sedition, or treason, or conspiracy to commit such acts.

Senate Democrats and the mainstream media are pushing back, saying the full unreacted Mueller report needs to be seen, because Trump may still be guilty of obstruction. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said Barr’s assertion is nothing more than “Republican conspiracy theory nonsense” and an effort to divert attention from Mueller’s full report which Barr said will be released within a week.

Why this Matters: There are several investigations still ongoing that will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that these things happened. We will see it soon with the results of:

  • Inspector General Horowitz’s report on FISA abuse by the FBI
  • US Attorney John Huber’s report on leaks, spying, the Clinton Foundation, and the sale of US uranium to Russia under Obama
  • President Trump’s Release of the fraudulent FISA applications
  • Barr’s review of Mueller’s probe, and other investigations

Nothing can stop these results from coming out. Is the end is near? Maybe, but the timing is important and it may be months before we have full disclosure, and years before the guilty are behind bars.

How to Pray: Praise the Lord, who invented justice and judgment! His will be done.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 – Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
