The Climate Crisis, Cannibalism and the 2020 Election

“Climate is not a separate issue; it is the lens through which we must do everything.”

–Sen. Cory Booker.

CNN held a “Climate Crisis” town hall on Wednesday featuring top Democrat contenders for the 2020 presidential election. Each candidate was interviewed for 40 minutes and also fielded questions from the audience. The event lasted seven hours.

According to a CNN poll taken in April, 96 percent of Democrats favor taking aggressive action to slow the effects of climate change, which the UN says will devastate Earth by 2030 if nothing is done. Even children are being taught the following information, based on fraud science (see below):

  • coastal cities will disappear under water
  • plants and animals will be wiped out
  • drought will devastate our food sources

To help keep the town hall centered in a crisis mode, CNN’s new “climate correspondent” Bill Weir, a journalist with a degree in creative writing, got the audience engaged about the human suffering caused by climate change.

Answer? Eliminate Fossil Fuels!

What is the answer to climate change? All ten candidates favored eliminating or greatly reducing fossil fuels by 2030 and using “green” energy technology paid for by massive tax increases. Although none voted for the “Green New Deal,” which has a projected cost of $93 trillion, they all backed parts of its agenda:

  • Bernie Sanders – “So, I think, especially in poor countries around the world where women do not necessarily want to have large numbers of babies and where they can have the opportunity through birth control to control the number of kids they have, [American taxpayers funding their abortions] is something I very strongly support.”
  • Pete Buttigieg – “Combatting climate change is the hardest thing we will have done, on par with winning World War II, perhaps even more challenging than that… If you eat hamburgers or use straws, you are part of the problem… We must decarbonize fuel for air travel.”
Pete and his straws…

Note: Buttigieg’s campaign has spent about $300,000 on private jet travel this year, more than any other 2020 Democratic presidential contender. And see the images below where Pete uses straws.

  • Kamala Harris – “Americans need to be educated about the effect of our eating habits on our environment; we need to change the dietary guidelines to reduce the amount of red meat you can eat.”
  • Beto O’Rourke says his 8-year-old son told him that they cannot live in El Paso in the near future because it would not “sustain human life unless something dramatic changes with climate change.”
  • Elizabeth Warren wants government regulation on lightbulbs, straws, and cheeseburgers.

Other climate change proposals:

  • Use cold water to wash clothes and save 5x the energy
  • More regulation and tougher standards across the board
  • Semi-nationalize our utilities at an estimated cost of $16 trillion over the next 10 years
  • Only allow electric cars
  • Label meats to reflect their “impact” on the environmen
  • Go vegetarian, all people, worldwide

Cannibalism–the Climate Change Solution?

One idea that was not mentioned Wednesday, but is making its way into headlines worldwide is cannibalism, as well as and eating insects, to minimize the destruction of the environment.

  • Jared Piazza and Neil McLatchie, psychology professors at Lancaster University, have proposed we embrace cannibalism as an alternative to meat consumption, which they say destroys the planet. Other mammals, such as rodents, bears and chimps do it, so why not humans?
  • At the Gastro Summit in Stockholm Sweden this week, behavioral scientist Magnus Söderlund asserted that we must “awaken the idea” of eating human flesh as a way of combatting the effects of climate change. He believes that food sources will be scarce in the future, therefore we must be introduced to eating things we have considered disgusting, such as insects and human flesh.

What none of these researchers admit is the detrimental effect. A Papua New Guinea tribe, isolated until the 1930s, believed in eating their dead. This led to an epidemic of a disease called kuru, or “the laughing death.” It is caused by a twisted protein that tricks other proteins in the brain to do likewise, eventually creating pockets of dead nerve cells in the cerebellum. The damage results in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type behavior.

Newsweek and other outlets promoted these stories. Although revolting, this is really nothing new. Movies about cannibalism were “all the rage” at film festivals in 2016, and the Netflix series “The Santa Barbara Diet” premiered in 2017. You can guess what’s on the diet. Movies and video games featuring vampirism abound, including the popular Twilight series.

Is this a harmless slice of pop culture and crackpot ideas–or is our culture being programmed to accept it?

Why this Matters: CNN’s 7-hour town hall finished last in viewership, according to Nielsen Media Research, with an average of 1.1 million viewers from 5 p.m. to midnight. And even after all that airtime, no one addressed the fact that green technology isn’t “green.” It requires either coal–a fossil fuel–or nuclear power, which creates atomic waste. Even electric cars are made of steel, which is forged by coal, the same substance power plants burn to generate electricity.

What if the crisis is a hoax?

Last month, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Canada, threw out a case brought by Dr. Michael Mann. He is the “scientist” who gave us the “hockey stick” graph that the UN used to prove a coming climate crisis. Dr. Mann was suing two publications that criticized his work, but when the court asked for his substantiating data, he refused to submit it. Mann lost the case, was made to pay the court costs, and was exposed for cherry-picking his numbers in order to create an outcome.

Tim Ball, a prominent climatologist and retired professor from the University of Winnipeg in Canada, said Mann’s hockey stick is a deliberate fraud and calls global warming the “greatest deception in history.”

To summarize the real goal of this hysteria, consider this statement made by United Nations official Christiana Figueres, in which she refers to a new international treaty environmentalists hoped would be adopted at the Paris climate change conference in 2015:

“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution. This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.”

How to Pray: That the real agenda and true motives of the climate crisis proponents will be exposed for all the world to see.

Praise God for His ability to sustain and take care of that which He created!

Ps. 19:1-6 – The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge.

There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race.

His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
