Note: Updated to correct Chinese investment to $1.5 billion (not million). We regret the error.

Back in the day when he was Vice President, Joe Biden loved to travel with his son, Hunter. Father and child took special trips together—like the one to China, where Hunter walked away with $1.5 billion of the Chinese government’s money to invest in his private equity fund, Rosemont Partners. Another big winner in that trip was Hunter’s partner Chris Heinz, stepson of US Secretary of State John Kerry.

Then there was the time that Joe Biden threatened Ukraine if they didn’t fire their top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin. They stood to lose $1 billion in US loan guarantees, which would have sent Ukraine toward insolvency. Vice President Biden says he told Ukraine’s former president: “I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money.”

Joe relayed this little tale in front of an adoring crowd of supporters last year, seemingly blind to the implications. Maybe that’s because he left out the part explaining that Shokin’s corruption investigation targeted a natural gas firm called Burisma Holdings. One of its board members, Hunter Biden, was receiving up to $50,000 per month from Burisma.

So it’s amusing, in a way, that the following story broke late last week.

  1. It seems that “some employee” at the CIA learned of a phone call between President Trump and Ukraine in which Trump urged Ukraine’s new President to reopen its investigation into Burisma and the Bidens. The leaker did not hear the conversation, but heard about it outside of working hours. He took it upon himself to pose as a “whistleblower” and reported the hearsay information to former Obama administration officials, who then took it to the Washington Post.
  2. The Post ran with it, speculating that President Trump engaged in dangerous, possibly unconstitutional behavior because of this “classified information.” Buried in the story was an admission that “the president has broad authority to decide unilaterally when to classify or declassify information,” and basically he can decide what to say to foreign leaders.
  3. No matter. The CIA Inspector General got involved and took the story to the Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee—who are now demanding the transcript of the President’s conversation with Ukraine’s leader, and that the leaker be given protection under the law.
  4. The Committee was joined in their calls to receive the transcript by the 2020 candidates, including Joe Biden, who said,

“Trump is using this because he knows I’ll beat him like a drum and is using the abuse of power and every element of the presidency to try to do something to smear me.”

To which the President responded:

The Acting Director of National Security, Joseph Maguire, denied the Committee’s request for the leaker’s complaint. Democrats then accused Maguire of breaking the law.

Notably, Joe Biden had a particularly bad week, and has been overtaken in the polls by Elizabeth Warren, who leads him 30 percent to 24 percent.

There are several backstories that show who else was involved:

  • Globalist George Soros joined the Obama administration in funding a non-governmental organization called AntAct (Anti-Corruption Action Centre). Shokin was investigating AntAct for misallocating $4.4 million in US funds earmarked to fight corruption in Ukraine.
  • President Obama appointed Marie Yovanovich as ambassador to Ukraine. She gave the prosecutor general of Ukraine a list of “people whom we should not prosecute.” According to attorney and legal analyst Victoria Toensing, Yovanovich is a Soros supporter and helped bury the case.
  • AntAct was also collaborating with the FBI to “get” Paul Manafort, Trump’s campaign manager who earlier worked for politicians in Ukraine. Soros provided funding for AntAct to develop a phony affidavit incriminating Manafort, which was given to the US. Manafort was later found guilty of financial crimes and given an extremely harsh sentence, the kind usually meted out to murderers.
  • Soros also funded the Democracy Integrity Project, which later partnered with Fusion GPS to create the now-infamous Steele dossier. Additional funding came from Hillary and the Democrat National Committee.

Why this Matters: Ukraine’s new prosecutor general is now investigating whether Ukraine officials leaked financial records during the 2016 campaign to help Hillary. There is a mountain of evidence, which has been known since August of 2016, of involvement by Hillary and Soros, including paying Manafort’s accuser $8 million. What’s more, the FBI and former Director James Comey had set up an office in Ukraine to force an overthrow of the government. It was handy for running the operation against Manafort.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) says he will ask the Department of Justice to investigate the Bidens related to criminal activity.

President Trump continues to tweet about Biden and this massive corruption. It’s a mystery why Joe himself would join in on a phony, fabricated, and pointless allegation against the President unless he believes the globalist Deep State and its allies in the media still have a chance of pulling off a coup.

Trump, Indian PM Modi Thrill Houston Crowd

President Trump and India’s Prime Minister Modi visited Houston on Sunday to a great reception, nearly filling the 50,000-person stadium.

imageThe event, which was dubbed “Howdy Modi” was organized by an Indian-American association, offered the President and Modi an opportunity to talk about shared values as the world’s two largest democracies. President Trump is hoping to put together a trade deal with India to lower tariffs on US goods. The imbalance stands at $24 billion.

Mr. Trump said Modi invited him to the rally when they met last month in France. This was their third meeting in as many months and their first time together on stage. They will meet again Tuesday during the UN’s General Assembly.

President Trump will also meet with Pakistan’s leader Imran Khan regarding the Pakistan-India dispute over Kashmir.

Why this Matters: President Trump was warmly welcomed by Modi, and the crowd, which represents Indians of many faiths, was extremely energized. This capped a great week for the President, who set a one-day fundraising record for any politician of $15 million–and that was in California, a Democrat stronghold. Anything can happen in American politics, but it is looking very good for the President in 2020.

How to Pray: For President Trump to continue to humble himself before God. For the believers in our nation and around the world to continue repenting, seeking God, and submitting. For the evil to continue being exposed. For nothing is impossible with God!

Ps. 7:9 – Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
