A Great Day for Civilization

image

This is a great day for civilization. I am proud of the United States for sticking by me in following a necessary, but somewhat unconventional, path. People have been trying to make this “Deal” for many years. Millions of lives will be saved. Congratulations to ALL!”—President Trump, on the Turkey/US cease-fire
Despite lies, half-truths, and personal vendettas against him, President Trump continues to thrive and get the job done. The crowning achievement was a cease-fire between the US and Turkey, which was brokered by Vice President Pence and Secretary Pompeo with Turkish President Erdogan on Thursday.

Other milestones of the week:

  • The Trump/RNC campaign broke a third fundraising record with $27.3 million in September
  • 80,000 people requested tickets for the Trump rally in Texas on Thursday, four times the capacity of American Airlines Arena.
  • Data from the rally identified nearly 54,000 voters. Twelve percent did not vote in the last 4 elections. Twenty-one percent are Democrats. Eleven percent are Latino.
  • China has agreed to purchase $40-$50 billion in agricultural products annually (President Trump advised American farmers to “buy bigger tractors.”) The details of the deal will be worked out over the next four or five weeks, and includes provisions to protect American intellectual property and financial services.

White House Brokers Cease-Fire in Syria

Vice President Pence and Secretary of State Pompeo announced a five-day cease-fire in Syria after negotiating with Turkey’s President Erdogan on Thursday. Turkey agreed to suspend its deadly offensive in northern Syria if US-supported Kurdish forces withdraw from a “safe zone” along the border.

This allows 120 hours for the 2-3 million Syrian refugees in the 20-mile wide area to return home. The new zone provides a buffer against the YPG, a fighting force that has been allied with the west, that Turkey considers to be dangerous. Vice President Pence said the YPG would withdraw outside the 20-mile mark. Captured ISIS fighters will be under US control. Both the US and Turkey agreed on a commitment to defeat ISIS activities in northeast Syria.

The day before the negotiation, President Trump sent a very unconventional letter to President Erdogan of Turkey, encouraging him to work out a good deal—and stating “Don’t be a tough guy. Don’t be a fool.”

  • The mainstream media was quick to report (unconfirmed) that Erdogan was so insulted, he threw the letter in the trash. But within hours, the cease-fire was announced.
  • There were a few skirmishes at the border on Friday morning; some analysts believe that could be due to a lack of official “start” time of the cease-fire.

Pray for God’s mercy to help the Kurds resettle, that the cease-fire will hold, and that all parties can reach a satisfactory settlement to their centuries-old conflicts.

CNN’s President Hates Trump

Project Veritas was at again, this time catching CNN’s president Zucker stating his real purpose every day is to talk about impeachment, and CNN employees admitting Zucker hates Trump’s guts. Whistleblower Cary Poarch (pictured above), who worked as a contractor at CNN’s DC office, recorded proof of CNN’s bias and Project Veritas put it on social media for all to see:

CNN employees said:

  • Anderson Cooper, Jake Tapper and Chris Cuomo don’t like president Trump, “and Don Lemon hates him…even though CNN makes it appear as though we have 24 hours of unbiased news.”
  • “We’re tough on the Republicans… Our Democratic interviews are like softballs, compared to the Republicans”
  • “The only way this will go away is when he [Trump] dies. Hopefully soon.”
  • CNN President Jeff Zucker has a personal vendetta against Trump; he worked as producer at NBC on The Apprentice and “hates his guts.”

CNN President Jeff Zucker said:

  • “Let’s just stay very focused on impeachment.”
  • “We’re moving toward impeachment…all these moves are towards impeachment”

Why this Matters: On Friday, President Trump’s lawyer sent a letter to CNN and Zucker threatening to file a lawsuit, saying CNN’s coverage of events is driven by a personal vendetta, rather than objectively reporting the news. The President is suing for damages as a result of CNN’s violation of the Lanham Act which prohibits false advertising.

ABC’s video of “Slaughter in Syria” on the left, and on the right, the original footage created by Knob Creek Gun Range in Kentucky.

ABC Caught Creating Propaganda

ABC News ran a video of a huge firefight and claimed it was from the Syrian border. The video clip was produced by Knob Creek Gun Range in Kentucky and it was loaded onto YouTube in 2017. ABC took the clip and used four or five filters to remove the audience and their cell phone lights and make it grainy before running it as their own. Instead of apologizing on-air, ABC tweeted their regret for the error.

President Trump called out ABC’s Jonathan Karl during a press conference, for asking a deceptive question and chastising them for running the phony video.

“And when you ask a question like that, that’s very deceptive, Jon, it’s almost as deceptive as you showing all of the bombings taking place in Syria, and it turned out that the bombing that you showed on television took place in Kentucky. So, you know. And I’m not even sure that ABC apologized for that. But certainly, it was a terrible thing.”

Why this Matters: The use of propaganda is now protected by law.

In 2017, President Obama signed the NDAA, a defense spending bill that included language giving the media the right to act as a propaganda arm of the government. It was cloaked as permission to counteract foreign propaganda by the “development, integration and synchronization of whole-of-government strategies.”

How to Pray: Pray for our Father to replace the lying, corrupt media with news sources that are committed to truth and diligent to present all opinions.

Prov. 12:22 – Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

Prov. 17:15 – He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

Farewell Fallen Hero

Master Sergeant Mark Allen, 46 passed away this week. During the 2009 mission to find Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, who went AWOL in Afghanistan, Allen was shot in head by a sniper. He spent the last decade in a wheelchair.

Pray for his family and thank God for men and women willing to sacrifice their lives for others.

John 15:13 – Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
