Afghanistan Failure: Who Knew What, When?

Rumble or Brighteon or Bitchute or YouTube

The last flight out of Afghanistan departed a minute before midnight local time on August 30, within the Taliban’s deadline. And while the country remains in chaos, the war is over, for now. President Biden took a victory lap on Tuesday, despite last week’s suicide bombing that killed thirteen American service members and wounded 20 others–and despite having left hundreds of Americans behind. Dozens of Afghans were also killed and many more wounded.

  • When the US military pulled out, any continuing evacuation efforts were given to the US State Department.
  • A total of 123,000 were evacuated, but only 6,000 of them are Americans.

Left Behind

It was only a few days ago that Press Secretary Jen Psaki told Fox News’ Peter Doocy, “I think it’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded. They are not.”

Biden himself told George Stephanapolous of ABC News August 18 that all Americans would be rescued.

Yet, Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, the commander of U.S. Central Command, admitted that some American citizens who wanted to leave are indeed stuck, and no American civilians made it out on the final five flights. McKenzie believes the “diplomatic sequel,” led by the State Department, will be successful in bringing them home.

Who Knew What, When?

There are five troubling facts now coming to light about the exodus from Afghanistan. Together, they paint a picture of a strategic failure that was planned and executed despite its damage to US supremacy–or on purpose.

Advanced notice of bombing. Just 24 hours before the bombing that killed 13 Americans, senior US military leaders learned details about the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin instructed top officials to make preparations for an imminent “mass casualty event.” This is according to classified detailed notes of the meeting that were shared with POLITICO.

US Officials are responsible for preventing Americans from leaving. According to The Washington Post, the Taliban offered to let US forces secure the city of Kabul, but US leadership turned them down, saying that we only needed the airport.

  • That left the Taliban guarding gates and keeping them closed to Americans fleeing the country.
  • US officials said repeatedly that Americans “didn’t make it” to the airport, when in fact, they were prevented from entering the airport.

Afghanistan’s president Ashraf Ghaniwas not equipped to lead a nation.Like President Obama, he was more of a community organizer (with his hand out to receive Democrat cash) than a leader. In 2007, Ghani founded a charity and immediately received a $40 million grant from the Clinton Global Initiative. He stayed active in DC circles until the Obama Administration intervened to place him as president in 2014. He has now fled the country.

Today, Ghani’s children continue the tradition as wealthy Democrat power players in the US.

  • Daughter Mariam is an artist who received a grant from George Soros to fund her studies and art studio. She lives in a pricey New York City loft.
  • Son Tarek, lives with his wife Beth Pearson in DC. Pearson is a senior aide to Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren. Tarek was an advisor to the presidential campaign of Democrat Pete Buttigeig

The Taliban is Pakistan’s proxy, fighting against the US. Pakistan is their source of funding, along with their allies China, Qatar and Iran. With the US gone, China will be able to extend its Belt-and-Road Initiative through Kabul, building infrastructure across the region. The Taliban will continue giving Chinaaccess to Afghanistan’s rich mineral deposits.

Remember the $85 billion worth of American military vehicles, aircraft, weapons and technology left behind by US troops? The Taliban has it. They now own the equivalent of a first-rate military power, and although they don’t have a clue how to use the new equipment, the Chinese Communist Party will be glad to show them how.

Why this Matters: The Biden Administration is about to recognize the Taliban as the rightful rulers of “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan,” just in time for the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Sec. of State Antony Blinken announced Monday that America’s diplomatic operations have been transferred from Kabul to Doha, Qatar. On Tuesday, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan reported that the US may deliver health aid and economic assistance directly to the Taliban.

President Biden address the nation on Tuesday, taking credit for successfully ending the war, and again stated that any American who wants to leave the country will be evacuated. He also admitted that it was his predecessor who started the process, but neglected to mention that President Trump had implemented a “Contingency and Crisis Response Bureau,” designed to handle medical, diplomatic, and logistical support that would have gotten us out quickly and safely. Sadly, it was paused by Biden’s State Department in February–even while the withdrawal was being planned.

This exit is not a victory. The hurried, deadly evacuation has left our friends and allies wondering if America has the will to do the right thing–or the will to do things right. Our weakness also makes our enemies bolder. But there is no doubt that God remains the Almighty, able to answer our prayers and put a stop to the insanity when He determines that the time is right.

How to Pray: For the safety of those still waiting to get out of Afghanistan, for the church in the Middle East, that it may overcome. Pray for the wounded to heal and that those Afghans now in the US will told the gospel of Christ. Pray for the troops that served and suffered will understand that the nation is grateful. Pray God’s comfort for the parents and family of the fallen.

Ps. 37:7 – Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

Ps. 37:9 – For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Ps. 37:30-31 – The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment. The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

Ps. 37:34, 39 – Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

  1. Thank you for what you do. I have been following you since the “pandemic” started. Your prayer and Scriptures at the end of each episode are reassuring. I usually follow you on Bitchute, but nothing is in chronological order. Is it possible to have the most current first? And do you know what has happened to Mark Taylor, the firefighter, who wrote “The Trump Prophecies”? May God bless and keep you.
