Social media is buzzing with a story in the New York Post. It goes back to 2017 when a California judge granted the right for three men to be listed on a baby’s birth certificate. Three gay men–a zookeeper, a doctor, and his parter–wanted to be parents. Their friend Meghan had extra embryos, and offered them the chance to adopt. The men found surrogates to carry the babies to term, and they’re now parenting a 3-year-old girl and a toddler son. (Pictured above, left)
At first, the judge refused their request, but they begged and pleaded. “We all gave very tearful testimonies about why we needed to become parents,” said one. “You could see the emotion on the judge’s face. She looked at all the options in front of her and found a way to use existing laws to give us the first birth certificate of its kind anywhere.” (Emphasis mine)
Note: Meghan’s embryos may never have been born if not for these three men and the surrogates. Yet here are children being raised in aberrations they will come to find normal, because the men “needed” to be parents!
Once the US Supreme Court legalized homosexual marriage in 2015, the sky became the limit. We reported in 2020 on a throuple who was featured in an episode of HGTV’s House Hunters. A man and his wife who had two young children decided to “marry” another woman with whom they were having sex. Now they’re one big happy family, or so we’ve been told.
Last week, a transgendered psychologist chosen to be Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services was interviewed by the Senate. Dr.Rachel Levine, (pictured above, right) who for many years was Ralph, believes that children should be given hormone blockers and be chemically castrated at age 14 or earlier, if the child expresses anxiety about going through puberty.
- Coincidentally, the House just passed HR1 with the help of three Republican lawmakers. It will allow—among other things—the process for chemical and surgical transitions to begin in childhood.
During Dr. Levine’s hearing on Thursday, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) asked, ‘Do you believe minors are capable of making such a life changing decision of changing one’s sex?’
Levine refused to answer, repeatedly saying, “transgender medicine is a very complex and nuanced field,”
Sen. Paul compared transgender surgery to genital mutilation, which is female circumcision performed on girls in Muslim cultures. He told Levine, “I’m alarmed that you’re not saying they should be prevented from making decisions to amputate their breasts or genitalia.”
In-Equality Act
The 800-page HR1 bill, labeled the “Equality Act” should be considered the opposite–much like the Ministry of Love torture chambers in Orwell’s “1984.” This bill creates more imbalances than it seeks to solve by supposedly making life safe for transgenders. The good news is it probably pass, lacking the 60 votes needed in the Senate.
Some of the provisions:
- Biological men and boys may compete in women’s sports and use women’s locker rooms, restrooms, etc.
- No person may use their religion as an excuse to refuse to perform abortions or male-female transgender surgeries, such as mastectomies.
- Churches and ministries would not be able to hire based on adherence to a creed or mission
- It would be illegal to misuse a person’s chosen pronoun
Over in the House, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) posted a sign outside her congressional office. It stands across from the transgender flag of Rep. Marie Newman, whose son is now transgender. The sign reads, “There are only two genders, Male and Female. Trust The Science!”
Those who try to bring sanity to these debates are being censored and their books are unpublished or dropped by Amazon. One example is Ryan Anderson, who wrote the book, “When Harry Became Sally,” that contains stories of people who regret their gender transitions. His book was dropped from Amazon without notice. The pro-transgender book “Let Harry Become Sally,” is still on Amazon’s shelves.
Science and opposing views be damned, apparently.
Winners and Losers
The intransigent lie coming from the LGBTQ lobby is that psychological discomfort can be relieved by irreversibly damaging one’s body through drugs and surgery–beginning in childhood.
The winners of this medical frontier are the pharmaceutical giants selling drugs transgenders will be on for the rest of their lives, and surgeons who specialize in altering body parts. Puberty blockers are being recommended pre-onset, and cross-sex hormones are introduced around the age of 16, according to recommendations by the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. The possible side-effects are muscular atrophy, decline in cognitive ability, anxiety, depression, infertility, osteoporosis, and memory loss. The puberty blocker Lupron, for which the FDA has received hundreds of thousands of complaints, costs $1,843.10 per pre-filled syringe.
Northing can duplicate God’s design, but you can get an imitation body part with a complicated, very painful, and costly procedure:
- $25,000 for “bottom surgery”
- $70,000 for facial feminization
- $53,000 for facial masculinization
- $10,900 for bilateral mastectomy
- $9,000 for breast augmentation
About 83% of companies surveyed by the Human Rights Campaign offer healthcare benefits that cover transgender “care.”
Not the Answer
How many people seeking a different gender suffer from trauma related to childhood sexual abuse? Walt Heyer, who lived as a woman for 8 years, then transitioned back and writes extensively on transgender regret, said the people he ministers to can always point to some situation in their past—often, but not always, sexual abuse—that caused them to want to escape who they were and become someone else instead.
Why this Matters:Big Tech and Corporate America, which includes the media, will not allow alternate opinions or dissent. They are successfully hiding the truth from Millennials, who get all of their news from social media that is designed to recognize personal preferences and give us more of what we like. It’s an echo-chamber of lies and partial truths that is dividing the world.
We can no longer discuss publicly discuss treatments for a virus, the dangers of vaccines, or the actual results of an election. The new Congress wants to increase censorship, so that people like Ryan Anderson and Walt Heyer will have a harder time helping those in need.
We’ve lost the presidency, the House, the Senate, and seemingly, the Supreme Court–judging by their recent decisions to not weigh-in on any election lawsuits. They also ruled to limit church attendance and prohibit singing. The two newest justices, Barrett and Kavanaugh, did not stand up in these latest opportunities to defend conservative causes.
Nothing surprises God, and this is not His first experience with the rank perversions of mankind. From the days of Noah and the priest-led orgy after the Exodus from Egypt, the Bible is filled with examples of orgies and every sort of sexual sin.
Jesus told us it would get bad. He reminded us, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you.” The challenge now is to stay away from bitterness, and cheap shots and pointless feuds on social media. We can look for those opportunities to engage in real discussion that only comes when we’re willing to listen before we offer advice.
How to Pray: For hearts to be open, for ears that hear and eyes that see. Pray that Father God will give your loved ones His thoughts. He can poke their intellect with questions and cause them to see holes in the world’s indoctrinations. Pray that the Lord will raise up leaders in the body of Christ, and provide opportunities for relationships with hurting people. May we remain humble, weather temptation, and speak the truth in love. May the body of Christ stand for truth.
2 Tim. 2:24-26 – And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! I just spent two days with some family members (at a funeral) who HATE me for my beliefs and “pure” living. With your encouragement I will work to stay away from bitterness and pointless feuds. (I am not on social media. I removed myself from that ever running tool of temptation years ago.) Thank you and the Lord bless you!! Sandi Lowe.
