FL Says No to LGBTQ Grooming of Kids

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who is about to leave her post to join MSNBC, broke down in tears describing her angst over the actions of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and the passage of the Parental Rights Act. It stops teachers from discussing sexuality with young children. Psaki said the bill uses children as weapons, and then began weeping. “And they’re doing that in a way that is harsh and cruel to a community of kids.”

The Biden Administration is fully behind transgender surgeries and hormone treatments for children, although they cause irreversible physical damage and there are no studies on other long-term effects.

The FL legislation was mis-labeled the “Don’t say Gay Bill” by opponentswho want to promote homosexuality, transgenderism, and even masturbation in public schools. This bill not only prohibits those discussions in K-3, but it also gives parents access to the curriculum, something teachers’ unions are against.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek was goaded into taking on DeSantis by the LGBTQ staff and their allies at Disney. Several videos were leaked of staff meetings where content creators explained how they added queer characters whenever possible. Disney’s Pixar Studios has added a same-sex kiss in the upcoming Buzz Lightyear movie.

Florida’s legislature also voted to pull Disney’s special status which allows them to operate like a private city and bypass property taxes.

DISNEY’S NOSEDIVE

The release of these “grooming” videos sent Disney stocks into a nosedive. The stock reached an all-time high in March 2021, trading at nearly $200 per share, but as the market closed Thursday, the stock was hovering near $120 per share, down roughly 33 percent from a year ago. Disney has lost more than $41 billion in shareholder value since the release of those internal videos.

Ed Rensi, former CEO of McDonalds, thinks the CEO and board of directors should be fired. “Their duty is to increase profit in sales in a good way so that shareholders benefit, so they get dividends and additional stock and the company can grow,” Rensi told Fox News. “And when they get off into minority issues and social engineering and political issues, they lose their focus on responsibility,” he said.

Why this Matters: Mainstream media rushed forward to condemn DeSantis and the legislation, warning that now Orange County taxpayers will see a 25 percent rise in their property taxes. Because the Disney is in an independent, municipal tax district, new legislation will be required to handle the transition. The Governor issued a statement clarifying that there is no expectation of a tax increase for residents and legislation will be proposed to ensure transparency and an even playing field.

The new status goes into effect June 2023.

The days when corporations were apolitical are gone. Large corporations such as Disney have become special interest groups that donate big dollars to politicians and causes. Disney’s demise shows us that conservatives and traditional liberals can agree that we draw the line at a child’s innocence. There is a battle in our culture over who has a say in public school education—whether it is the parents’ right and obligation to vet what is taught, or whether it is for the “good of society” for educators alone to do so. This is one battle we must win.

Going Down: Netflix, CNN+

For the first time in a decade, Netflix lost subscribers and shareholders lost millions as the stock plunged by 35 percent.

One of the new offerings at Netflix is “He’s Expecting,” a story about “a successful ad executive who’s got it all figured out, becomes pregnant [and] he’s forced to confront social inequities he’d never considered before.”

Netflix continues its reign as the LGBTQ champion, with 155 queer characters, the runner-up was HBO Max with 77.

The entertainment company decided in early March to suspend service to Russia, resulting in the loss of 700,000 members—yet it had predicted a gain of 2.5 million subscribers for the first quarter. The company also blames the end of lockdowns and increased competition for their poor performance.

Could it be that we’re sick and tired of their garbage programming?

CNN+ was put out of its misery just a month after being launched as a digital streaming service. What began April 1 will end April 30. Parent company Warner Brothers/Discovery spent $300 million trying to build the platform, but had only about 150,000 people sign up.

Libs of TikTok Exposes Perversion in Schools

Libs of TikTok is an account on Twitter that grabs videos from TikTok (another social media platform popular with millennials) and posts examples of what is secretly taking place in our schools, such as:

  • Preschool teachers bragging about how they encourage children to touch themselves sexually and explore changing their genders.
  • In one video, a teacher of four-year-olds explains that “when you were born, “your parents looked at you and made a guess” about whether you are a boy or a girl, and “sometimes, they guess wrong.”
  • Other videos have trans “women” complaining that they now have menstrual cramps—which is impossible since that requires ovaries.
  • The creator of Libs of TikTok (LTT) comments that these people are mentally ill, with which many of us would agree.

As a result of LTT’s work, several of the teachers who are acting against school policy have been fired or suspended.

Libs of TikTok’s popularity has made it a target of Twitter and the mainstream media. A reporter from the Washington Post did a hit piece and exposed personal information on LTT’s creator. Now she is afraid for her life and has gone into hiding.

CNN’s Brian Brian Stelter credited LTT for helping to inform Florida’s recent parental rights law. The creator replied, “If true, this is one of the biggest accomplishments of my life and I will wear it with a badge of honor. We must protect innocent young kids.”

Battle for Control

Twitter is now facing a hostile takeover from the richest man in the world.Elon Musk purchased nine percent of Twitter stock in March, and now he wants the whole thing. Musk has stated his intention to make it a true free speech platform.

The board of directors has rejected his offer of $46 billion, which equates to $54.20 a share for stocks that closed at $48.93 per share on Friday. Even so, the board is unlikely to accept Musk’s offer. Twitter has only posted a profit twice, in 2018 and 2019.

Interesting timing: Both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have posted tweets declaring their support of “accountability” and “oversight,” on tech platforms. In other words, they are both promoting censorship while pretending to be champions of democracy. Twitter kicked Donald Trump off the platform in January, 2021, and continues to suspend anyone who shares Trump’s posts from his personal communications platform.

Why this Matters: This is the battle we face. It’s clearly not against flesh and blood, although we must legally fight against Satan’s human emissaries where necessary. Let’s keep on praying and attending school board/community meetings, keeping track of our politicians’ actions, and exposing the devil’s work whenever we can.

How to Pray: Praise God for revealing the groomers who want to turn the next generation against Him. Pray that we will stand firm and listen to the Holy Spirit, not forgetting that the war has already been won.

Psalm 1:1-3 – Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
