It’s important to know the truth, which has been taking quite a beating since the overturn of Roe v. Wade—especially in the rape of a 10-year-old girl from Ohio. The mainstream media and the Biden Administration recently took this tragedy and mined it to create useful propaganda in their zeal to reinstate abortion. Let’s take a look at the facts of that situation as well as other lies that are being exposed.
Resurrecting Roe
Police arrested the rapist of a ten-year-old girl last Wednesday in Ohio. He is an illegal alien from Guatemala, and confessed to raping her on at least two occasions.
Dr. Caitlin Bernard, who performed the abortion in Indiana, told the story to the Indianapolis Star Tribune as an example of why we need a national right to abortion. The child was six weeks and three days pregnant—slightly past the abortion window of the heartbeat law. President Biden further spread the account and it wasn’t until days later that we learned the truth.
- Abortion is legal in Ohio if required for preserving the health of the mother; according to Ohio AG Dave Yost, this case would have fallen under that exception—although Dr. Bernard said she received a referral from a doctor in Ohio who felt it could not be performed in that state.
- The 10-year-old lives with the rapist, who has protection under Columbus’ sanctuary city law and cannot be deported.
- The child’s mother said her daughter was “fine” and “everything they say about [the rapist] is a lie,” when confronted by a Telemundo reporter.
Police interviewed the girl, who identified the rapist, who has been in the US for about seven years. DNA samples will be used as evidence in his trial.
Note: Questions remain about the child’s safety in that home, and the safety of other children who live there. Some are led to wonder if this is a child trafficking situation.
Why this Matters: Beyond this heartbreaking tragedy, progressives are also attacking crisis pregnancy centers. Sen. Elizabeth Warren told reporters these centers exist to “fool people looking for pregnancy termination help” and lamented that they “outnumber abortion clinics by 3-1.” She wants to shut down all crisis pregnancy centers.
Christians are being lectured—even from the pulpit—that we aren’t doing enough and that when Jesus spoke of the “least of these,” he meant mothers with unplanned pregnancies, not their unborn babies. Today, if you speak for the unborn, contend for marriage, believe in only two genders, support religious liberty, and think the Constitution reflects God’s Word, you are a menace to society. They’ve coined the term Christian Nationalist to describe our “bigotry.”
The truth is, Christians have long been stepping up to the plate to help women in crisis. Erin Hawley, Senior Counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom, testified before the House Oversight Committee about the value of pro-life pregnancy centers. She said, “They are not fake centers. In 2019, they served 1.85 million families, provided $266 million worth of goods—car seats, baby formula, diapers—things that women really need.”
Truth be Told, However Inconvenient
A study conducted in Australia found that the covid vaccine negatively affects women’s health. Nearly 40,000 women reported heavier periods following the jab and women post-menopause and those taking cycle suppressors had break-through bleeding. The study did not once use the term “women” (rather, “people with periods”) and experts also stated that this was no reason to not get vaccinated.
Dr. Deborah Birx (the scarf lady) wrote a book celebrating her contributionsto the lockdowns, mandates, and masks. In what some are calling a “brag fest,”she writes about her efforts to subvert the Trump White House and the push to open up the economy. She hid data and incorporated data from Italy, S. Korea, and China to keep the lockdowns going despite the facts. She writes:
- “Our Saturday and Sunday report-writing routine soon became: write, submit, revise, hide, resubmit.”
- Birx adds that “fortunately, this strategic sleight-of-hand worked” and she felt confident that her revisions gave the states permission to escalate extreme measures.
Meanwhile at the CDC and NIH, health experts are quitting in droves. According to staff, poor decision-making based on bad science has led to low morale. Some of the issues include masking in schools, school closures, and vaccines for children four and under.
Why This Matters: As stated in the tweet above, never forget what was done in the name of science, and how information is twisted to support a narrative. With the midterms ahead, local officials are already re-instating mask mandates and threatening lockdowns.

Last week we learned that President Biden’s release of fuel from our strategic reserves wasn’t only for Americans. He sold millions of barrells to foreign countries, including China. Hunter Biden’s private equity firm owns a $1.7 billion stake in that Chinese company. The media is silent.
House Speaker Pelosi’s husband bought millions in computer-chip stocks ahead of a vote on legislation to fund the chip-manufacturing industry. Pelosi supports the $52 billion semiconductor Senate bill. One month ago, her husband Paul acquired 20,000 shares ($1 million-$5 million) of Nvidia, one of the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturers.
Foreign Affairs
A Ukrainian cargo plane, taking 11.5 tons of Ukrainian weapons to Bangladesh, exploded into fireball in the sky, then crashed in Greece. Eight crew members are dead. The weapons continued to explode for four hours. Question: Why is Ukraine transferring the weapons (likely supplied by the US) to Asia?
The US continues writing massive checks to fund Ukraine’s defense, and Biden has gone begging for more oil from the Saudis, who turned him down. Biden severely restricted domestic production the day he took office, and one million barrels of oil per day have been taken out of the global market as a result of sanctions against Russia. The resulting higher energy prices benefit Russia while hampering Western Europe. Citizens there are facing severe energy shortages, and Germany is already rationing usage.
On Monday, Russia’s Gazprom announced it cannot guarantee gas suppliesand declared force majeure retroactive to June 14. Force majeure is standard in business contracts and spells out extreme circumstances that excuse a party from their legal obligations. There were maintainance issues with a turbine which has now been repaired, but there’s no official reason for the stoppage.
President Trump repeatedly warned in 2018 that Germany should change course or they would become totally dependent on Russia energy.
The Win Column!
A flight attendant for Southwest won a $5.1 million lawsuit. Charlene Carter was fired for complaining that her union dues supported abortion and funded the anti-Trump Women’s March in January 2017.
US District Judge Charles Atchley Jr., Tennessee, has temporarily blocked President Biden’s guidelines pushing transgenders into girls’ school sports, locker rooms, and bathrooms. The ruling comes after 20 Republican state attorneys general sued, arguing that federal directives on Title IX make it impossible for states to enforce their own rules about transgender athletes. Ohio, Iowa, Georgia, Kansas and Utah are among those that have passed laws limiting transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports. They face a credible threat of losing significant federal funding.
US District Court Judge Matthew McFarland, Ohio, ordered the Air Force to stop discharging service members who claim religious exemption from vaccine requirements. The pause is currently set to last 14 days.
A 22-year-old man with a pistol took out a mass shooter at a mall in Indiana on Sunday. The shooter had already killed three people and wounded several others when the citizen with a gun stopped him.
His actions are in great contrast to the 400 police officers in Uvalde Texas who waited 77 minutes before stopping the shooter who had ample time to kill 21 children and adults.
Why this Matters: At least he didn’t get arrested for murder like Joe Alba, the shop clerk in New York who stabbed a man in self-defense and is now charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon–even though video footage shows he was attacked by a woman and her boyfriend.
The World is Laughing
While the US struggles to maintain its position as the reigning superpower—already questionable–the world watches and laughs at our domestic issues like boys in girls’ sports, the pronoun debate, and mentally ill trans bureaucrats.
The most recent incident was splashed across social media when the French Ambassador hosted a party for Bastile Day. Representing the US were Adm. Rachel/Robert Levine, the Asst. Secretary at HHS who wants children to receive trans sex hormones and reassignment surgery, and Energy Dept. Deputy Asst. Secretary Sam Brinton.
Brinton has a storied history. He promotes gay-sex “puppy” parties and has defended underage homosexual prostitution. Brinton is highly paid and has a top secret security clearance with access to grave, sensitive national security information.
A “transgender woman” at a women’s prison in New Jersey has impregnated two inmates. Demi Minor, 27, was moved last month to a youth correctional facility with male inmates. Writing in a blog post, Minor explains that being placed on suicide watch at the new facility is “due to the fact that I had hung myself in the van” after guards denied Minor’s request to be strip-searched by a female DOC officer. Minor is serving a 30-year sentence for manslaughter.
How to Pray: Thank God for the sanity found in His holy Word, our hope and help in times like these! Pray for the children who are in harm’s way. Pray for righteousness to return and that Americans will trade ignorance for truth. May we stand against the lies and propaganda.
