Judge’s Daughter Scores Millions Off Trump Trial

The legal battles against former President Trump are something to behold. Each time it looks like he is about to go down, his persecutors are exposed for having run afoul of the law. We’ve seen that in the Georgia election interference case with DA Fani Willis—which is so bad it may never come to trial—and now it’s happening to their cases in New York. Let’s start with the events of last week.

Trump Makes Richest 500 List

This one is pure irony. Trump’s real estate fraud case was decided by Judge Arthur Engoron, who imposed an outrageous bond of $454 million. Trump must pay the bond before he can appeal the ruling. An appellate court reduced his bond to $175 million, which the Trump Organization paid yesterday. In the meantime, shares of Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, were sold in an initial pubic offering. The sale made several billion dollars for the former President, and rocketed him into the list of the 500 wealthiest people in the world.

Swindle Plot Exposed

We also learned last week of an allegation that Stormy Daniels and Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen cooked up a plot to swindle the Trump Organization. Everything is backwards in this one! While Stormy Daniels accused Trump of having an affair with her—she was actually involved in a ten-year extramarital affair with Cohen. He was the one arranging the non-disclosure payments to her.

When the case does go to trial, the prosecution is relying on Michael Cohen as the star witness. Cohen is a known liar who was previously convicted and imprisoned for lying to Congress. A judge recently observed that Cohen may also have committed perjury when he testified in Trump’s civil fraud case.

The allegations that emerged about the Daniels-Cohen ten-year affair is a wrinkle the prosecution may not have expected. Tony Seruga, a witness to Cohen’s lies and corruption in other matters, alleges that Cohen devised the hush money scheme to extort the Trump organization.

Seruga learned of it through Michael Avenatti, a convicted felon and lawyer for Daniels in her lawsuit against Trump. Avenatti bragged about the scheme more than once and even bragged about it to former NBA star Dennis Rodman. 

If true, this further damages the prosecution’s case.

Remember: 

• Daniels’ accusation of her consensual affair with Trump in 2006 wasn’t leveled until 2016—in the midst of the presidential campaign. 
• Trump denied the accusation, but agreed to pay her $130,000, as he said, “to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her about an affair.” 
• Although these “hush money” payments are perfectly legal, New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg are working with Biden DOJ attorney Matthew Colangelo to prosecute Trump. The crime? Not specifying in his books that these were “campaign finance” payments, therefore they claim he “falsified his business records.” 
• This 34-count indictment, charged on April 4, 2023, was levied long after the statute of limitations had run out.

Things got a little stranger last week, with the exposure of the Daniels-Cohen love affair and the sudden 100,000-page document dump by the Biden DOJ, setting the case back two weeks until April 15.

And then there’s the latest appalling revelation: the judge, Juan Merchan, has a daughter and wife who are so involved in Democrat politics, he has every reason to make sure that Trump goes to jail.

Judge Imposes Gag Order

Judge Merchan slapped a gag order on President Trump that specifically mentions his daughter, Loren Merchan.

What if the judge, who is supposed to remain impartial, had TWO family members with high motivations to prosecute the President and put him behind bars?

Who is Loren Merchan?

Daughter Loren Merchan is a big deal in Democrat campaign circles. She’s partner and part-owner of Authentic Campaigns, a political consultancy whose clients include Adam Schiff (D-CA), Senate Democrats, Kamala Harris, and Joe Biden. Two of her clients have raised at least $93 million in campaign donations, using the case against Trump in their solicitation emails.

Merchan’s previous profile picture on X was an image of President Trump behind bars, as though in a jail cell. That account has now been scrubbed.

In 2023, the Democrat Attorney General’s Association was a client of Authentic Campaigns. Letitia James is a member. DAGA paid $100,000 to Authentic Campaigns in the last quarter of 2023.
Earlier, Merchan worked for Revolution Messaging, responsible for coordinating the anti-Trump resistance network across the country with various progressive and communist organizations.

Judge Merchan’s wife Lara worked under DA Letitia James as a special prosecutor until 2022.

It’s a family affair!

Accordingly, Trump’s lawyers have asked that Judge Merchan recuse himself.

Why this Matters: Trump took some of his wealth and shared it with the Diller family in New York. Officer Jonathan Diller made the ultimate sacrifice and lost his life when a career criminal killed him during a traffic stop. The man had 21 prior arrests. Trump paid off the family’s mortgage through Tunnels 2 Towers.

Diller leaves behind a wife and one-year-old baby boy.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul went to Diller’s wake, but was turned away. President Trump took time to visit the family and was welcomed. Diller’s grandmother asked him for a hug, and received one.

At the same time, Joe Biden, Bill Clinton, and Barak Obama arrived in New York for a campaign event—where guests paid between $225-$500,000 per ticket to attend, plus an extra $100,000 to get a picture with the presidential trio.

To add insult to injury, the Biden White House, DOJ, DHS, and other bureau made official announcements marking March 31, which happened to be Easter Sunday this year, as “Transgender Day of Visibility.” On Monday, after a huge social media backlash, President Biden denied having issued such a proclamation. 

How to Pray: Ask the Lord to bring to bear his justice and judgment in each of the four trials to which Mr. Trump has been subjected. Pray for the Diller family and that the Lord will comfort all those who grieve. Pray for law and order to win out because the citizens demand it. May those who have found their refuge in lies be exposed. Pray for the heart and soul of this nation—that it will be turned back to God.
