Monday marks the axis between a potential world war and the possible cessation of hostilities. Which will it be? Vladimir Putin offered his negotiating terms:
- Ukraine would stay out of NATO
- Recognize Crimea as Russian territory
- Recognize the breakaway regions of Luhansk and Donetsk as Russian
- Cease all military action
Ukrainian President Zelensky has rejected them. Instead, he wants western countries to enact a no-fly zone over Ukraine—which would escalate the potential for a world war. Russia also announced a cease-fire and offered safe routes for passage out of Kyiv, Mariupol, Sumy, and Kharkiv—but Zelensky’s government said these were unacceptable and just an effort to manipulate world leaders.
Americans are asking themselves as they pay up to $7 a gallon for gasoline and Russia advances in Ukraine, do we belong in this war where there are no American interests?
Trust No One
The media has been caught in recent days publishing fake news about Ukraine—everything from a phony massacre on Snake Island, to reports of a statement by Zelensky, “I don’t need a ride, I need more ammunition,” which was absolutely false.
More fake news came out over the weekend from Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. He gave the green light for Poland to send fighter jets to Ukraine. Pictured below is the official tweet by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland which called any notion of fighter jets “FAKE NEWS!!” and misinformation. Poland will not send fighter jets to Ukraine or allow its airports to be used.
False Flags and CIA Interference
It can be argued that the 2014 regime change in Ukraine was actually a coup to replace Ukraine’s neutralist government and President Yanukovych with an anti-Russian, fascist replacement.
According to Eric Zuesse, writing in Modern Diplomacy, the network behind it began planning in 2011. “That’s when Eric Schmidt of Google, and Jared Cohen…Hillary Clinton’s chief person [were] tasked to plan ‘popular movements’ to overthrow both Yanukovych in Ukraine, and Assad in Syria.
Zuesse says that the CIA secretly trained snipers in Georgia, Lithuania, and other anti-Russian CIA assets. These snipers orchestrated a false flag operation under the cover of peaceful protests. It led to President Yanukovych fleeing the country and to Ukraine’s parliament appointing acting leaders until elections could held.
Hours after President Yanukovych announced he would suspend preparations to sign a trade agreement with the European Union, mass protests, called the Maidan Revolution, erupted and continued for three months. On February 19-20, 2014, special police units ended things by firing on the crowd. One hundred people were killed and many others wounded.
Protesters reported that bullets were flying at them from buildings controlled by demonstrators. Zuesse writes,
- “The possibility exists that some of the Right Sector snipers were taking positions in, and especially atop, some of the government buildings so as to fire down into the crowd and seem to be firing from Yanukovych’s side.”
This is a very definition of a false flag.
Within hours of the shooting, EU diplomats rushed in to try and broker another deal, but Yanukovych was gone. Russian President Putin took advantage of the country’s instability and sent Russian soldiers in to seize Crimea. Putin also quickly took Donbass in eastern Ukraine.
In the special election that followed that May, Petro Poroshenko was elected president and signed the EU trade agreement. He supposedly also began a corruption clean-up operation, but didn’t get far. He was under the watchful eye of the Obama/Biden Administration, and by 2016, the pace of reform had ended. Porsohenko was defeated in a 2019 runoff by Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Neo-Nazis’ Candidate
Zelensky owes his election to Arsten Avakov, Ukraine’s then-Minister of the Interior. Avakov, who served under Zelensky until last July, is the most powerful patron of Ukrainian Nazis since the Maidan Revolution. Avakov brought volunteer battalions fighting in eastern Ukraine into his Interior Ministry–the most famous of which is the Azov Battalion, founded by his associate Andriy Biletsky, who also co-founded a neo-Nazi offshoot.
As reported by The Jerusalem Post,
- “The [Azov] battalion has been a bastion of neo-Nazis and extreme right-wing figures. As an independent militia, Azov originally sported the neo-Nazi Wolfsangel symbol which resembles a black swastika on a yellow background, and its founders came from the ranks of a paramilitary national socialist group called Patriots of Ukraine. It was also accused of committing torture and war crimes.”
Avakov’s successor is a member of Zelensky’s party, and considered to be of the same neo-Nazi stripe.
This may be why Putin has repeatedly listed the “denazification of Ukraine”as one of his motives for invading the country–and why the heroic portrait of Zelensky that’s been painted by the mainstream western media is just more propaganda.
Impeachable Phone Call
Let’s back up to Donald Trump’s election and the money trail in Ukraine.One of the last things VP Biden did before leaving office was to call President Poroshenko and warn him that his input would continue even after Trump took office.
Biden warned Poroshenko that a future visit was dependent on how Poroshenko responded to the incoming Trump administration. He said, “But here’s where I am now, part of my answer to that depends on what was your conversation with our president-elect.”
- Biden went on to discount the ability of the Trump transition team, adding he had withheld some information from them regarding Ukraine.
- Then, after Poroshenko thanked Biden for his “enormous role” in bringing peace to Ukraine, Biden responded, “Well, you’re awfully generous. I don’t plan on going away. As a private citizen, I plan on staying deeply engaged in the endeavor that you have begun and we have begun.”
And stay engaged he did!
Let’s remember that Biden had previously threatened Poroshenko with pulling a $1 billion US loan guarantee if he didn’t fire his prosecutor and end the corruption clean-up of natural gas company Burisma, all while having his son Hunter implanted on the board of that same agency. The prosecutor’s office identified Hunter Biden, business partner Devon Archer and their firm, Rosemont Seneca, as potential recipients of more than $166,000 a month.
Biden has remained safe from that scandal by the protection racket at major news agencies. Yet, it was Trump’s innocent phone call in 2020 where he asked President Zelensky about that investigation into Hunter Biden and Rosemont Seneca that got him impeached.
Let’s also remember:
- Biden said there would be no pushback if Russia carried out a “minor incursion” in Ukraine.
- Germany and much of Europe made decisions that render them dependent on Russia for their gas and oil.
- Biden and the western media have been warning of an invasion for weeks, while Russia kept consistently asking for a promise that Ukraine would stay out of NATO—a condition that was brokered decades ago.
The situation changed suddenly with austere sanctions against Russia and an all-out war by the media against Putin. He became a “madman” cut off from all outside influence. The push last week was that because Putin doesn’t have a cell phone, he has lost all grip on reality.
The truth is that Putin wants what he has always wanted: a secure border and a neutral Ukraine. At this writing, the west and the government of Ukraine remain adamantly opposed.
Looking for Oil in all the Wrong Places
The Biden Administration is now leading the effort to cripple Russia with sanctions while looking for ways to get more oil into the US. The worst case would be if Putin is pushed so far that Russia and others such as Iran, China, and India abandon the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency. The fallout could cripple the US beyond repair.
Last month, the Interior Department was forced to stop handing out new oil and gas leases and permits after being blocked by Judge James D. Cain Jr. He ruled that the Biden Administration was artificially increasing the cost estimates of oil and gas drilling and must delay sales scheduled for this spring.
- Sadly, that was the opposite of what had been sought by several oil-rich states.
- The fallout is that the federal government has stopped work on handing out new leases and there will be no new projects to help us during this energy crisis.
Russia, Oil, Alternative Money
Today, Biden is considering cutting off Russian oil from the US market. He is not alone, with lawmakers from both sides insisting it’s the thing to do. Russia exports about 5 million (bpd) barrels per day to the US. Russia is the world’s top exporter of crude and oil products combined, with exports of around 7 million bpd, or 7 percent of global supply.
We don’t want to know what will happen if the rest of the western world followed suit.
Oil production is not keeping pace with demand as it is, which is being blamed on the covid outbreak. OPEC members have not been able to produce as much oil as they agreed, and President Biden’s release of crude oil reserves will do little to provide more, nor will it significantly affect prices at the pump.
Now, the administration is trying to find oil other places, including Venezuela, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. In a really strange twist, the US is also asking Russia to help them negotiate with Iran in a revival of the 2015 nuclear deal.
Or, we could do as Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg advised, and buy electric vehicles at around $50,000 a pop?
More Sanctions, Political Pressure
Google, Apple, Visa, MasterCard, AmEx, and dozens of other banking systems, big tech firms, consumer product companies, and social media platforms are blocking Russians from using their products. Last week, Russia’s largest banks were kicked off the SWIFT monetary tracking system. By excluding Russia from international payment systems and making the Ruble nearly non-convertible, all Russian citizens have been plunged into financial straits.
- gin issuing cards using a Chinese card operator’s system with Russia’s Mir network after Visa and MasterCard pulled out of Russia.
Why this Matters: It’s hard to find a precedent for these extreme financial sanctions levied by the US, Canada, Australia, Japan and the states of Europe. Today, as the US and our allies consider a ban on Russian energy, the ruble crashed to a new record low. Is it any wonder Putin signed a decree allowing the repayment of foreign creditors in Russian currency?
According to Steve Cortes, advisor to former President Trump, “We are playing with fire with such intense escalation, especially as a response to a regional battle where the United States finds no vital national interest.”
How to Pray: May God continue to remind us that He rules and reigns. Pray that His will would be done and everything that is concealed will be revealed. Pray for President Biden to make the right decisions, and for the peace of Ukraine. Rejoice evermore, put your trust in God for He will defend you and bless you!
