President Trump is on trial in Manhattan, where he’s unlikely to get a fair trial. The highly political judge has him silenced with unconstitutional gag orders, while the key witness, Michael Cohen is free to rail against Trump during his daily, hours-long podcasts. Trump faces a jury of non-peers, and each of the 34 indictments are written such that Trump’s lawyers don’t completely know of what he’s been charged.
Next, Democrat Rep. Bennie Thompson introduced a bill in the House that says anyone convicted of a felony cannot receive Secret Service protection. How’s that going to work if Trump is sentenced to jail? Perhaps the hope is that Trump will be Esptein-ed—as in “Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself”—before the November election.

It’s the stuff nightmares are made of, and something we never would have believed could happen just a few years ago.
Now we have proof that this whole thing was planned—just like the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax, the phony allegations about Trump’s phone call with Ukraine, and the second impeachment of Trump because he questioned the 2020 election.
Let’s Call it Collusion
A story in Politico reveals that a group of powerful leftist lawyers meet every Friday, and have been for years, to discuss legal strategies needed to take down Trump. In the main, these are former DOJ administrators and lawyers who write the briefs and court motions that are later filed by Jack Smith—the man prosecuting Trump in Florida over alleged mishandling of classified documents. Other participants in these weekly Zoom calls are hired guests on CNN, MSNBC, etc., and still others write articles in The New York Times or The Washington Post. They are united in their anti-Trump fervor.
According to the article, “Every Friday, they meet on Zoom to hash out the latest twists and turns in the Trump legal saga — and intellectually stress-test the arguments facing Trump on his journey through the American legal system.”
The article’s author denies this is a conspiracy to get Trump, and says if anything, “there is a lack of coordination among the relevant government parties that has actually increased the odds that Trump might return to power.”
We beg to differ.
On Wednesday, yet another batch of criminal indictments was announced for challenging the 2020 election. Democrat Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes indicted President Trump’s White House chief of staff and 10 other Republicans, including Boris Ephsteyn, one of Trump’s lawyers currently defending him in the Manhattan trial. This comes suspiciously close on the heels of a Bloomberg poll that has Trump beating Biden in Arizona by 7 points, 49 to 42.
At the center of this coordinated strategy is Matthew Colangelo. You might remember from a previous PrayingCitizen that he is a senior political appointee at the DOJ. He is someone for whom working in a lower court would typically be a step down, but considering the target, this is actually a step up.
If even one of these strategies succeeds in eliminating President Trump, Colangelo could end up at the top of Biden’s DOJ.
Glimmer of Hope in Florida
Florida Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, is proving to be the only straight-shooter in this whole mess. She has been un-redacting texts in the classified documents case being prosecuted by Jack Smith. The new information proves that the Biden White House and DOJ worked with the National Archives all along in an entrapment plot—even before the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.
- The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) was directed by Biden to pressure Trump to immediately return documents, while allowing Biden to slow-walk his return of similar classified material.
- One email dated May 5, 2021, shows the NARA plotted their demands a year in advance of threatening to draft a criminal referral against Trump
- Cannon also ordered unsealed items related to prosecutorial abuse, specifically threats made to the lawyer for Walt Nauta, Trump’s aid. Nauta’s lawyer was told that his judicial nomination wouldn’t go through if he didn’t pressure Nauta to flip on Trump.
Why this Matters: Keep President Trump in your prayers. Every legal case Trump is fighting could set new precedents for judges to act outside of the Constitution.
Repercussions of $95 billion in Foreign Aid
The humongous foreign aid package providing $61 billion in aid to Ukraine, plus billions for Israel and Taiwan (see April 18 PrayingCitizen) does nothing to secure our border, but it does include $3.5 billion to promote mass migration from the Middle East.
The Biden administration has set up two new international field offices in Qatar and Turkey to help 125,000 Muslims settle in the US. These offices will open in May.
We have Speaker Mike Johnson and dozens of Republicans in the House and Senate to thank for this. Johnson worked hard to pass this bill without a majority of Republican support. That deficit should have stopped the bill in its tracks.
Never mind, Johnson wanted to get this done, and he did. He has received accolades from top Democrats, including President Biden. Johnson’s response was: “The House has worked its will.”
Someone in the House passed out Ukraine flags to those who voted for the aid, which they all waved while cheering at the bill’s passage. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) posted on X a video of this travesty. He was threatened by the Sergeant at Arms to take the video down or face a fine. Johnson later reviewed Massie’s post and rescinded the fine.
Why this Matters: If Trump manages to survive these trials, he will find his poll numbers climbing—thanks to the continued bad policy from the Biden White House. Here are four of Biden’s latest:
- Biden has proposed the highest capital gains tax in history: a whopping 44.6 percent, higher than the highest set by Jimmy Carter—whose re-election didn’t go well. He lost to Ronald Reagan 49 to 489 electoral points.
- Biden threatened to call a national emergency based on climate change, giving himself 130 Covid-like powers. He would impose the Green New Deal on America without a vote in Congress. News outlets are being told to call it a “climate crisis.”
- Biden signed a bill to ban TikTok, if the platform isn’t divested by the Chinese. Cynics might say that the US government wants it owned by an entity they can control. The CCP uses TikTok as a social engineering platform, just as US intelligence agencies use X, Meta, Instagram, etc.
- Biden announced that a forced transition to zero emissions for the freight sector would be coming soon, meaning electric-only for trucking, shipping, and rail.
Protesters Take Over Campuses
Pro-Hamas/anti-Israel demonstrations have spread from Columbia University in New York to campuses across the US. Students and faculty (!) have set up tent cities and shut down campuses for the rest of the year. It’s obvious that the protests have been planned for some time, with matching tents, matching t-shirts, and matching signs.
Meanwhile, Hamas released a video of an American hostage whose arm they blew off when they kidnapped him some 200 days ago. Hamas continues to hold hostage five Americans and dozens of Israelis.
At the University of Texas in Austin, students are being arrested by state troopers in riot gear and hauled off to jail. The charges include criminal trespassing and obstruction. On Ivy League campuses, the administration is putting up with the demonstrators and asking Jewish student to go home for their own safety.
No protest tents are allowed at Florida State University, and lawn sprinklers were turned on to keep demonstrations from forming. At Liberty University, students and faculty gathered to pray for Israel.
Some protests have turned violent, and there’s evidence that they’re being co-opted by groups from the outside, including an organization called Peoples City Council. PCC is using X to fundraise for the “occupation.” The same group was also involved in the 2020 riots, and advertise that they will help people “who try to exterminate law enforcement.” Campuses are checking student IDs and restricting entrance to keep out infiltrators.

President Biden has remained noncommittal, trying to avoid the ire of the pro-Palestinian wing of his Party.
Why this Matters: Our tax dollars—multiple billions—support universities like Columbia, Yale, Harvard, etc. They get federal funding and student loans. Some have called for the resignation of Columbia President and Muslim, Minouche Shafik. That includes Speaker Mike Johnson, who also said that violent protesters should have their visas revoked and universities should have their federal funding revoked if they cannot control their campuses.
It should be noted that even the most vile anti-semitic speech is protected under the First Amendment. Violence is not. Some of these students have NO IDEA why or what they’re protesting. It seems that the “participation trophy” generation knows only how to criticize and tear things down—not how to build things up.
How to Pray: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Pray for God to intervene in this absolute mess and rescue us. Pray for the safety and health of all elected officials, even the ones that are responsible for the step of our Union. Pray for all the targets of “law fare,” that God will use it to mature his people. And, as the Supreme Court considers the matter of presidential immunity, pray that God’s will be done.
1 Cor. 3:19-21a – For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness. And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Therefore let no man glory in men.
Praying Citizen

Back when McCarthy was replaced by Johnson and the Conservatives lit up the social media and independent news sites about how great Johnson would be as House Speaker, I said no way and I have no faith in him at all, because I could see him only as a phony and backstabbing evil rat! I was correct and I really wish I hadn’t been because this is all adding up to be hell on earth for America and its Citizens!
I had just written elsewhere the following which sadly cuts to the chase as to our sad reality!
“A Government of the People by the People and for the People” is now History! It no longer exists and what America has become is a form of Dictatorship Oligarchy! The US Constitution no longer exists and the US Military is NOT defending it along with the American People as it should be just like all of the elected officials aren’t either! We have a derelict Leftist/Socialistic Democrat Party with a Participating RINO Party that have stolen our Nation under God and are running the economy into the ground to implode our monetary system so they can replace it with the WEF approved ESG Crypto Currency System to literally make the human population slaves, who will have to obey every edict passed on by them or be starved and chocked out of existence! And where is this headed; it was foretold long ago through God’s holy word in the Bible!
Revelation 13:16-18 “And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark— the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18Here is a call for wisdom: Let the one who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and that number is 666.”
We observe how the Democrat Party accuses a former President of multiple crimes and they pursue him with endless charges and lawsuits throughout the land in order to keep him from winning the Presidential Election in which he is the leading and only “REAL” Candidate, which is absolutely Election Interference and Rigging of a Presidential Election that according to the US Constitution is Treachery, Treason, Insurrection (a Silent Coup d’état, no shots fired) among multiple other felonious Crimes carried out within a “Weaponized Department of Justice and Judicial System!” So that what we are witnessing is the “Actual Criminals” accusing everyone that they don’t like or want to have any influence (their enemies or opposition) being called criminals, when it is they the Democrat Party along with all of the weak-kneed RINO’s who collectively are the worst Criminals this nation has ever had in it; “TRUE ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE and GOD!”
We are witnessing the American Constitutional Republic being dismantled and destroyed along with its economy and “the People, actual Citizens!” This while they allow millions of “Foreign Illegal Invaders” to assist them in their nefarious plan to “rig” an election by force right in front of everyone’s eyes while they “rape” the nation of its wealth and treasure laughing all the way to the bank! This is all abhorrent evil that is absolutely diabolical!
Rather than continuous debates between the two candidates throughout the election year, we see none of that, but, rather only rigged court cases being presented against the leading candidate Trump, by the “evil enemies” of America and its Citizens who stop at nothing to destroy him in order to achieve their goal of “complete control!”
The people in charge only see a world like the one author George Orwell depicted in his novel “1984” of Totalitarian Control and Big Brother watching your every move and controlling what you think and do! Now that people are so eager to provide all of their data in a digitized world this is becoming a reality to the point where everything about each of us, including our thoughts, will be in the “Digital Cloud” making all of us “constantly monitored slaves” who will become “virtually obsolete” on a moment’s notice and REMOVED or in other words murdered by the click of a button!
But I believe what is approaching the world fast now is far worse, because it is “God’s Judgment” that is going to “set the record straight” for all time and “His will be done on earth as in heaven” through “His perfect judgment” of all things and every soul!
He will repay according to each one’s deeds:
Romans 2:7-8
“7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.”
God’s Righteous Judgment
Romans 2: 1-16 “You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. 2 Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance? 5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”[a] 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; 10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 11 For God does not show favoritism. 12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. 14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) 16 This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.”

God bless America and her Citizens in this most troubled time and please guide your faithful servants unto righteousness!
Indeed it is wise to know God’s word by repetitive solemn fervent study and is exponentially important in the End Time, as we can be sure that the “masters of deception led by the father of all lies Satan,” will be working overtime to lead the sheep (faithful) away from the True Shepherd Jesus Christ! This will preempt the arrival of the antichrist that is going to deceive many with his masterful lies blended with truth!
And so I add; there is no room for ego, self-pride nor one’s personal emotions or agendas, and we must trust in Him alone Jesus Christ that we are guided by the Holy Spirit from the Father Himself!
John 14:15-17 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.”
John 14:25-27 “All this I have spoken to you while I am still with you. 26But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you. 27Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid.”
We must be alert as we seek His divine truth and guidance always making sure not to be listening to those who have pride and are seeking to satisfy their own desires or compulsions but instead only follow the “Spirit of God Himself!”
I add that it is much too easy for we fallen from the grace and the glory of God to become puffed up with pride and serve agendas that have nothing to do with the Father and His will for each of us!
Amen.
The only thing that can forestall and hopefully stop this ugly mess from continuing is “divine intervention and miracles!” For this we must pray!
